Adam Mitchell is contracted at Hannover Scorpions, not Adler Mannheim.

Ken Magowan & Jochen Reimer are not free Agents. They are contracted at Wolfsburg.

Klaus Kathan isn't free Agent. He plays for Hannover Scorpions.

Actually, I had the last time corrected everything. Now the errors are back. The player attributes are not updated. Missing some transactions. Manimal has probably not work continued on the current file. Only way I can explain it.

Is it just me, or is Wayne Simmonds from the LA Kings is extremely overrated in the new database?

And I haven't seen the Kings this year so I can't really say

In 3.0 Belleville Bulls playing in OHL have European sized rink Dunno if it can be changed

It must have been a glitch on my game I guess.
When I looked him up, I saw 18-19 on several of his attributes Mainly the slapshot, stickhandling, positioning and passing one.
His mental attributes weren't that high

I think I remember seeing Simmonds like that in one of my games in 3.0 at some point, maybe during the Thrashers challenge. I wonder if his PA is high and he quickly reaches it?

I found out why Simmonds has such incredibly high stats.
I used the pre-game editor to look at him, and most of his stats were set at 0, guess he got a bit lucky there?

Has anyone gotten past Sept 7, 2007 with the new database? I'm getting a regular crash there in my one career. Wondering if it's an isolated problem or something with the new DB. Going to try a fresh career later today.

EDIT: Seems it was just isolated. Lost a good career though.

Cant get past Sept 1st 2007 also.

just isolated. Mine works to 2013 plus.

What team are you playing? I had two careers with Detroit that had crashing problems, but now I'm playing with Nashville and it's fine.

I have the Rangers and cant get past that date, tried to holiday over it numerous times too, but didnt work. Not really motivated ATM to start a new game in fear of that happening again. I think riz or someone once said it might be related to some staff data or something.

I just noticed a guy named Simon S:t Cyr. I assume it should be St. Cyr.

Not necessarily. We sometimes spell it like that here in Sweden(he is swedish)
HIs name is spelled differently on different sites

A couple of minor tweaks, I hope you don't mind:

Mário Bližňák (Canucks, Manitoba): birthplace should be Trenčín; name spelling to be corrected;
Nathan Gerbe (Sabres): played mostly as a LW, this season at least;
Jack Hillen (Islanders): birthplace should be Minnetonka, Minnesota;
Jamie McBain (Hurricanes): birthplace should be Edina, Minnesota;
Antti Miettinen (Wild): should be RH shot; looks like the Wild's website got it wrong;
MacGregor Sharp (Canucks, Abbotsford): birthplace should be Red Deer, Alberta.

Something I thought I'd bring up for discussion- entry level deals, specifically for players in the CHL. Currently if a player is signed, but sent back it slides. However this does not happen in EHM. Would it be better to keep players signed to EL deals, but playing in WHL/QMJHL/OHL as unsigned with rights held, thus allowing the user to choose when to sign them?

I cite, for example, Bjorn Krupp who was signed several years ago by the Wild but has had his contract slide twice. game wise it seems more logical to have him unsigned. I notice manimal did this with the college free agents in 3.1 since technically they wouldn't join the team till the next season and it made a lot of sense.

I am also doing this with Swedish players that are signed by an NHL-team but still playing in Sweden. I will do so with the signed guys that gets sent to juniors this fall. I will not leave them un-signed, rather have them as future transfers

I know it wont be an issue for the next update anyway, but it looks like the Rangers dont have the rights to Dubinsky so he is UFA not RFA in the newest DB.

So?

I mean you don't need to wait for an update. You can switch your players position as you want. Players often plays 2 or 3 different position depending on the team needs.
They can play left one season and center the next one. My point was that you can tweak with the saved game editor. But tweakings the Db is fine too but probably time consumming.
