Why not? Could have worked. I prefer to see someone trying something like this than someone who does the same predictable moves that get stopped all the time or someone who misses the net.

Kassian move is simple. Ottawa has no heavyweight. How many times a year do they play Toronto, Boston, Philly. ..etc

Hoping they are that the nuclear deterrent allows the skill guys to play.

David Desharnais signed a 4 years deal worth 3.5 millions a year with the Habs. That's a pretty good deal for a guy who can score 50-60 pts per season.

Grigorenko has been sent back to the Remparts, Only 5 pts in 22 games with Buffalo. I'm sure Roy is happy to have him back in his line-up! He'll have more icetime anyway there than with Buffalo so it's a good thing for him.

I agree. The logo would greatly benefit from having the letters spelling "Vancouver" removed IMO, but the jersey itself is very nice. Hope they'll wear it again.
