Thanks once again Getzlaf. I really have to figure out how to do these myself. Is GIMP or Photo Shop a better option to do these? I tried downloading GIMP but it didn't seem to work.

Depends on you're preferences. Photoshop is probably better, but i only use GIMP as it's free...

OK I downloaded GIMP and am starting to play around with the program a bit. However, when I try to save a file, it wants to save it in .xcf form, not .png form, which I know I need for EHM. How can I save the files in the proper format?

At the end of the team name, or picture. Just name it .png, so for you're grizzlies, i named it Memphis Grizzlies.png, the png is removed when viewing it and it is just Memphis Grizzlies.

I believe that is the property that has the least amount of space taken up...
Nice to see you giving it a go! Just holla if your struggling.

Oh, hmm, i guess i miss written my question. I am looking for a pack that have (not every) but a maximum of the playable team logo packs!
I have just re-install the game on my new computer, so i am trying to find an easy way to have my game perfectly up and running with the mods!
Thanks!

OK I tried making the old Washington Capitals logo, just as a test to see if I can use GIMP. Well, so far there is failure. I can't figure out what is wrong. It looks like the right dimensions (for the huge logo) but I may be wrong. The dimensions are 166 x 120 and it is a .png file. So I have no idea what happened. Any help? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Most of the packs that you can download contain huge logos.

They are the right dimensions... What does the logo look like? What is wrong with it? The large logo is the one you can see at the top of a team screen...?

I have no idea what is wrong with it. The way I tested it was to see if it worked when you selected which team you wanted to be. And the logo wasn't there. So I knew there was something wrong with it. I don't know if I saved it properly or cropped it properly. Frustrating. If there wasn't an issue with me using HTML on here I would have the angry frustrated emoticon swearing his ass off!!!

Have you named the file correctly, it should be in the Sports Interactive\NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\pictures\logos\clubs\huge\National Hockey League and it should be called 'Washington Capitals'...

Yeah it's in there. However, I noticed that the file was only 1.4 KB, quite a bit less than most of the other files in that directory (which seem to be anywhere from 10 to 50 KB). I wonder if this is an issue. I don't know how I could change that though.

It could be an issue...? Where did you get the logo from?
If you could post the logo in your gallery here on TBL i'll take a look and see if there is something wrong... Bit hard to judge without seeing it.

Ok I will do that. I got the logo from Sportslogos.net. I don't know if the source makes a difference or not.

Are you just right clicking the image on Sportslogos.net and clicking Save Picture As... But instead of the Save Picture As option, open up the GIMP program, and copy and paste the image into there, and resize it using the scale image tool and then save the image from that... Let me know what happens when you try that...
I will make a guide for the knowledge base section shortly giving a quick way of making the logos.

OK that seemed to work for a bit, and then all of a sudden it wouldn't. The only thing that seems to be different is that some logos appear in GIMP with no background (or a white one) and then some have a black and grey checkboard type background. Those last ones are the ones that seem to work properly. However, I have no idea how to get any images to have that background. The white-background images come up being called "indexed" and the others come up saying RGB or something like that. This is getting pretty frustrating. Any help would be very much appreciated. Maybe Getzlaf can figure this one out!
