EHM The Blue Line

When playing as Waterloo in the USHL with the current TBL rosters, the game will crash around August 26/27, 2017. (No error message, just a hard crash that stops the game from running) I haven't used the editor to change anything with the database, so I'm a bit stumped as to what's causing it.

thanks for your work pumping out these rosters. Not an easy job and it makes the game so, so much better.

I've been playing for almost a decade and I've got a new one for you: for some reason, after I installed the 10.1 update, my preseason games must be cap compliant. I have never experienced this before. The cap is set at 75mil, and if the top 24 most expensive players exceed that for preseason games I cannot advance without going on vacation (similar to regular season cap restrictions).

Funny thing is that my team is cap compliant when October 1 rolls around (which is when the game decides to accurately reflect your cap instead of the top 24 paid players).

Any idea on how to solve this? Help is appreciated.

Game crashes everytime you hit the roster management button

Hey guys,

I'm getting sporadic crashes; I can't seem to find any cause. Once or twice a day at least, however, "EHM has stopped working." And it closes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and like I said it's not a date-specific or anything, so I don't think it's a corrupt save.

Any ideas?

Im getting the same error. After day 1 or 2 my game crash.
I have tried to load fewer countries but its still the same issue.

Hello - I'm not totally sure if this is the right place for this but my new save using the rosters came across a problem. I chose a team in the swedish second league, but I am unable to hire a head coach, as on the personnel page, the former gm/head coach is still marked as the head coach, even though his personal page has him marked as unemployed. I am unable to offer him a contract as he is not interested, and I created new gms of teams with higher reputations but he is still not interested in signing with them either.

What do I do?

Hey I'm having trouble getting the import databases function to work. I've subscribed to and downloaded the rosters I want from the workshop, however, when I try to import them, there isn't any option to import? It's kind of just a blank page. I am using playonmac if that helps.

The importer function is for importing the older EHM07 databases into the new EHM, not really used much nowadays.....for databases you've subscribed to from the Steam Workshop, you should be able to just click subscribe and then start a game and select the database to start a new game (no importing necessary)

Tbl roster 11.0 crashes on start up any ideas?

It's hard to say in the absence of any details. Can you tell us what settings you chose, precisely when it crashed, etc?

Default settings and just british leagues. Crashes when it gets to the creating shortlist screen

Mine just crashes when I select all leagues. Never had an issues with past roster updates from TBL. This is the first time for me.

Try changing the database size to the next one down. That seemed to work for me at the moment.

Try temporarily moving the extra_config and records_config file from the 11.0 database folder and starting a new game. These have been known to cause crashes.

You can locate the 11.0 folder by following these instructions: viewtopic.php?f=150&t=17841

Weird, if I use the subscribed version it crashes to desktop at 'Initializing Game Data', if I copy it to a working folder under /db it worked for me, but took a VERY long time to load.

Archi - it may be worth trying to re-upload the DB to Steam

I'll try re-uploading later this week/weekend once I have a working router again. My current one died last night and so I had to tether my laptop to my phone in order to upload.

I get the crash in 2026 related to HockeyAllsvenskan and HockeyEttan on this new update. So I tried to apply the fix I provided for xECK29x who had the same issue and it seems to work on this db as well. Here's a link to that: viewtopic.php?p=239121#p239121

This could be why it's all weird, I'm sure the data is corrupted somehow.

Yeah it might be. My phone has a 4G connection but there did seem to be an unusually long pause/freeze when uploading. I will try uploading again shortly...

I have tried pushing the update which it said was successful but I'm not seeing a new entry in the changeling. Has anyone received the update?

What file size is the downloaded DB? Manimal mentioned it is seems too large.
