At 7 foot 1 and ONLY 176 lbs this guy is certainly more skinny than ever. loll Just one hit and he would break in a half.

Hopefully he will put on some muscle. But will his weight change? If he goes from str4 to str14 that would have to mean he is heavier just in building mass.
Scout report: Mutombo on skates. Fragile keep off ice and in the weight room.

Something I've never seen before. A Dutch player ranked in the top 5.
And a quick edit. Pittsburgh took him first overall.

Were there any half dutch regens capable of that good in your save? cos that could have been some half dutchmans regen methinks

I haven't been able to find any in one of my old saves.
And for anyone interested, Dean Willink's attributes

Yep and he's been doing quite well on my 2nd pairing with a matured Erik Karlsson. Here's what he looks like now:
To stay somewhat on topic, even without Ovechkin the Russians pulled out the gold medal game win over Canada, with the USA taking the bronze away from Sweden.

I have question about national teams: why Martin Brodeur and Roberto Luongo declines national team, when i'm trying to choose them to team Canada? This is off topic but i think i put it there cause you think why Ovetchkin isn't in team Russias roster.

Speaking of odd top-5 draft choices, the Canadiens managed to completely ruin my game by picking - from a draft including Tavares, Hedman et al. - a completely dreadful Brit second overall. He wasn't even a slightly-decent Brit. He was uniformly awful. Broke the realism immediately

I've seen that quite a few times. There was some discussion about it on the HF Boards. The theory is that it's maybe Kopitar or Zubrus... an anomaly from a really small, unrepresented nation that gets regened into another nation.

Well its definitely not the Kopitar regen, as Drago Stopar as he is now known as, currently plays for me. And oddly enough, the Dutch player has 5 years of history already.

Isn't it possible that it is a regen of a player with a completely random PA?
As in someone with a set PA of 0 at the start of the game.

No it's not possible. Because in the db the player has zero, but the game will give him a value. And this value will be kept for his regens

Yes, but a player that has a 0 in the DB could have anything between 1 to 200 in the game.
In this case there might have been a Dutch 0 PA player that has got a high PA generated for him by the game.

in world championships, i haven't played to olympique games, cause managing national team is kind of boring.
