Well no....the game is Kolzig vs Clemmensen, guaranteeing no win for me. Now I hope it is 22-1 for Tampa Bay. with Vince with 22 asssits, 22 shots and 2 fights.
Hell yeah...Vince was a bust and -4. :-D

Yeah..no doubt. And Zajac is mad at you for trading him. Did squat all for ya in his last game in the ugliest of the two Devils unis. At least he will still be a Devil with me. :-p

Could someone please explain the Max & Pace thing? Do my players use up a game even if they don't play? I see that some of you scratch all players that don't have a game that day

Max & Pace is there to show you your current pace towards the maximum starts for each position.

From what I have observed, a negative red number means you'll finish the season with games to spare(under the max. limit), and a positive green number means you'll finish the season over the limit(any stats gained after you reach the limit won't count for your team).

Ideally, you want to finish right on the limit so you don't miss out on any stats gained after you've maxed out, or so you don't have extra starts left over that you could have used.

As for who counts as a start, it looks to me like only players who actually play in a game count towards your limit. So, injuries and scratches don't count against your limits.

I ditched Bernier and picked up Glencross from Calgary and he had a goal and two assists in his first game for me. +3 as well!
I've had some good fortune with FA. Stajan was a real good pick up

Yesterday I had a full roster playing and only 2 people ended up on the winning side...

Does anyone want Samsonov for someone who has a lot of ice time? I don't care about scoring or penalty minutes or shots. I just want to get rid of him :D.

Hi Stinson

I wonder what you want for Lombardy?

Right now, I couldn't really tell you. Now that he's finally back, I'm waiting to see what he does.

Unless, of course, Jeff Carter was thrown into the mix... you could have him this minute. :-p

Awww, c'mon, it's not like he's producing this year... :**

On a serious note, I wouldn't actually need him anyway. - I really only need a goalie, and badly.

Okay..so I am going to mention this again, because there are a couple of places I don't think guys are getting how this pool works.

I am using an example here, and it will appear to pick on someone but it does not mean to. Just an example.

When you lead a category by a large margin--lets say Shots on goal, by 100 shots, or PIM's by 50-100 PIMs....you don't get any more points for getting more of those than anyone else. You stay at 20. Period. So you cannot improve your team.

This means...that you should likely trade out of that category to gain in another category..say assists or ice time...that you need to improve in, to move up in the pool. you cannot move up by staying with 20 PIM pts. And it will take quite awhile to go down from that 20 to even...19. But in the meantime you can increase in another area and gain many pool points.

So..I just do not get why people will not trade from their strongpoint to get better in their weak one. This is the way you win this pool guys.

I understand how it works, I just haven't found a deal good enough.

And we're back to negotiating, I guess. Interesting offer...

Just out of curiosity, what would you guys offer for Ovechkin? :-k

HAve a peek at yer offers...

Oh, and all night I moan and complain about my 2 Hawks not getting any points in a 7-1 slaughter of Phoenix. Jesus. Then...I get madder because I did not dress Brouwer and he gets in a fight.

Low and behold I look after the game ends and Kris Versteeg, of all people ends up with 2,5,10,10 for instigating a scrap with of all other people Kyle Turris with 2 seconds left in the game. Atta Boy Steeger!!! I will eat your automatic 1 game suspension.

Manimal-

Are you actually willing to trade Ovechkin, or are you just looking to see what you could get?

The latter.
Sorry if I misled any of you guys, but he's too good to trade

I'm currently looking for a few PIM's and Shots. I'm willing to trade anyone apart from Gettto. If Kipper is involved in a deal i would need a fairly decent goalie back. I'm also willing to give up a few goals for Assists.

I've got PIMs and shots, but beware. I'm negotiating with others right now as well

Need a shakeup. Lotts available on my team. Looking for save percent, GAA improvements and am willing to package to improve those two slots as well as PIM/Shots without losing too much ice time.

Take a look at my block...

Stastny
Gorges
Budaj
Smith
Stoll
Hainsey
Zajac
Salei

all available. Will look at moving Vinny in the right deal. Big Joe and Clowe are really the only untouchables.
