Anders Lee is much more valuable as well.

Furthermore, John Klingberg had a rating of 4stars when I traded for him and his value since acquiring him has dropped significantly despite his in game performance.

Derrick Pouliot listed as a 3 star prospect while far more marginal players/prospects are rated higher.

Not complaining as y'all have done a tremendous job and I love playing with these rosters. Just offering some insight in order to help possible future updates.
Those stars in the trading window we can do nothing about. (Just higher their reputation) Hoffman/Lee are both great in-game and produce nice numbers, making them even better isn't realistic.
Yeah, I believe those are GM opinions -- they show the value of the player in the eyes of your trading partner. Some other GM might have a different value for that particular player.

Edit: correction, interest. How much they want to sign the player.

Steven Stamkos is an upcoming RFA in the rosters, he should be an upcoming UFA.

Stamkos' UFA/RFA status is wrong because this version of the rosters does not include corrected player histories, so he does not have the required number of seasons in the NHL yet. I believe the next version will include the updated player histories and the issue will be fixed.

I'm not sure if you can edit the player histories with the Assistant, but if you can it's easy to fix: just add the missing season to Stamkos. There's probably other players as well that you could easily fix, even while playing (if this is possible).

That's exactly right. I'm working on the North American histories at the moment.

You can certainly do it via the Pre-Game Editor so that any new games you create are fixed. Once you have added the histories, make sure you check/tick the box entitled "Recalcuate staff runtime data" when you import the rosters back into EHM:EA. This is because the Player Info tab in the Pre-Game Editor contains all of the data used for calculating RFA eligibility, etc. The checkbox will allow EHM:EA to recalculate those stats based upon the histories entered for each player.

Alternatively, you could just increase the NHL Seasons figure in the Player Info tab of the Pre-Game Editor. But if you do this, you must ensure you do NOT check the "Recalcuate staff runtime data" box when reimporting because otherwise the game will revert the NHL Seasons figure according the histories actually entered (and so you'll have undone your change in the Pre-Game Editor). Hence the first option is the better one (i.e. entering the missing histories).

Another thing on the Ducks is that Hagelins technical attributes needs ALOT of lowering, in every game i've played he's a 40 goal scorer, sure he's next to Getz-Perry but that's still completely unrealistic, he's a 20+20 (at best) player no matter who he plays with.
I can defintely see your point. I dont know how the CA regulates the attributes but as i said, lower his speed, not unjustified either. And maybe his consistency and slap shot, CA should be around about what a 2-3 liner should have, which should regulate his scoring.

Not a specific mistake, but why do all first/2nd round goalies have insane potential?

Edgars Kulda is not listed on the Coyotes prospect report, I assume they lost his rights as he wasn't signed. (Upon further investigation, he re entered the draft, He's playing for Dynamo Riga KHL) 11/30/15 ( I just found a KHL video where they refer to him as a prospect).

Maxim Goncharov is still listed on the Coyotes prospect report, so his rights are still owned by the Coyotes. (He is still listed on the Future Coyotes page as well)

Jedd Soleway's rights are still owned by the Coyotes, as he is listed on their future coyotes page still.

Erik Karlsson should be getting a better point production, he got only 31, 41 and 53 points in the first 3 seasons playing 25 minutes per game (i'm not playing as his team). Also, his shooting percentage is low compared to real life although i dont know if it's because the in game engine or his attributes?

Report received via PM:

Vancouver Canucks have 3 retired jerseys that are missing: 10 Pavel Bure, 16 Trevor Linden, 19 Markus Naslund

I think Price was born in Vancouver, and moved to Anahim Lake as a young child (and played hockey in Williams Lake 320 km away, as the small isolated village of Anahim Lake has no rink/organized hockey)

Hi guys,

I just noticed that when checking previous drafts that there are 2 #1 picks in 2013. Ilya Kovalchuk and Nathan MacKinnon. When you check Kovalchuk's information it says he was selected by the Thrashers, Round 11(#1) in 2013 NHL Entry Draft. MacKinnon's information is as it should be #1 in 2013.

That is stuff we had to do with old hard-coded rules. It has been sorted now and will probably be in our next roster update.

Yes, that's true.

Montreal Canadiens roster

With TBL 8.0 roster: Bournival starts the season injured for 11 months with a bad concussion (2015-16), Galchenyuk's deking isn't high enough. 2 things I noticed (along with Mike Babcock's salary not correct).

I'm not sure this is where I should post this type of comment; I'l create another topic in the adequate section if needed. I'll also post (here/innewtopic) other possible corrections that I see, regarding Montreal or any other NHL team.

At the time of the release, Bournival was injured. However, the length was not known.
Not many teams have their coaches salaries public so I decided to not use any of them

Thanks for the reply;

Half of the NHL teams have their coach salaries public ( http://www.otherleague.com/contracts/nh ... -salaries/ ), so Idk.......

And something thing I forgot in my original post: Montreal Canadiens have 23 league titles in TBL roster, but they won 24 Stanley Cup in fact.

I was waiting to get more possible/plausible adjustments but I can't wait since I don't know when's the next roster update:

Carey Price's stickhandling should be higher (he's one of the best, if not the best, goalie stickhandler of the NHL), Antoine Roussel (french winger with Dallas) should have a higher aggression/aggressiveness (more than 200 PIMs last season, wich is very rare in today's hockey).

Is the guy who's doing attributes for NHL and AHL need my copy of an NHL game of EA? I'm not saying that their (EA's) ratings are perfect, but he could be inspired by them. You'd need to be on XBox live or PSN to get an update of the Roster but you don't need the new generation consoles. It's not that expensive. I can send you my copy of NHL 15 on Xbox 360 if you want/need it.

The next roster update should *hopefully* be out at the end of this month (assuming all goes to plan).

The EA NHL rosters are generally regarded as being very poor, which is why you'll find player ratings in EA's game are very different to those in EHM or FHM.

I'd say ''poor'', yes, but this is more to be inspired by them (mainly for NHL Teams; I could agree that they don't ''try'' too much with international players). But I still think I'm spot on with my three recommandations (Galchenyuk's deking, Price's stickhandling and Roussel's aggression. The Price thing is because of a message/report I got in game saying he was so good but his stickhandling was lacking and causing nervousness around the team when he was getting out of his net, while in reality this is completely the opposite.

I'll send you or at Manimal my next recommandations in PVs so I don't put too much msgs on the board. I'll try to put them in one big recommantation msg. I'll try.

It would be better if you post them in this thread (that is the purpose of this thread). Neither me nor Manimal work on the NHL and it helps if you post them here as others can also comment.

Usually it's best to compare the player to other EHM players/ratings rather than just saying to low/high or referencing outside sources...if a player is thought to be rated to low/high, what similar players ingame are rated at the newly proposed level? and how does the players "to low/high" rating fit in with the overall ratings of that particular Attribute ingame

max-xam11111 wrote:Carey Price's stickhandling should be higher (he's one of the best, if not the best, goalie stickhandler of the NHL)
FYI - looking at his Stickhandling rating in 8.0a, he's currently rated 3rd in the NHL (behind Mike Smith/Al Montoya) and tied for 4th in the world
max-xam11111 wrote:Antoine Roussel (french winger with Dallas) should have a higher aggression/aggressiveness
FYI - Roussel's Aggression is currently 14; only 35 players in the NHL have a higher Aggression (last year he had 148 PIM in 80 games)
max-xam11111 wrote:Galchenyuk's deking isn't high enough
FYI - Galchenyuk's Deking is rated 14; there are 100 NHLers with a Deking rating above 14 (currently the average of the NHLer Deking rating is 11.8)...Those at 15 include Pacioretty, Hossa, Nugent-Hopkins and MacKinnon.....those at 16 include Tavares, Toews, Bäckström, Hall, Jagr, Nash and Gáborík

Galchenyuk's Stickhandling is rated a 16; there are 37 NHLers with Deking rated higher than 16 (currently the average of the NHLer Stickhandling rating is 13.0)...players rated at 17 include Malkin, Hemský, Semin, Toews, Bäckström, Hall and Jágr

Looks like 8.0a has the correct Nylander to me http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=38703
But he does have American as his Other Nationality instead of Canadian (that's the only thing I noticed, everything else seems correct, including his Birth City being Calgary, Canada & his Nationality being Swedish)
