How do i switch places (Leksand -> SHL and MODO -< Allsvenskan) in the editor?
I'll have changes the leagues in the "club" tab. (Swedish Elitserien and Swedish Allsvenskan) on both teams and changes the roster.
But when i'll start the game only the rosters are changed and the teams are still left in their previous leauges.
Can someone help me?

Sorry for my bad english.

This is the wrong thread. This thread is for feedback on the TBL Rosters.

Good stuff. I'm not doing any of this "officially" just making the league I find the most enjoable to play in the game a bit more realistic, in my own edit of the DB. When I run across stuff like that I feel I might as well post it here too though. Saves you the time of finding what I already found while trying to add faces to all players that show up in my saves:)

Also I realized that in the numbers I posted earlier for Rep I had forgotten to remove the Cash value for Oskarshamn, making all those numbers totally out of whack. I've been playing on another version of the DB where I modded in Fagersta AIK in place of Sundsvall, so hadn't noticed it because of that.

Also as much as setting Cash to 0 seemed like a good idea for the sake of realism, it made all teams unable to make any trades before the season tickets were bought, which made gameplay in the first season a lot less engaging since the AI got dibs on all the interesting youth prospects. So I remade it with all teams having enough starting money for at least 1-2 purchases of reasonable prospects.

These are the updated numbers:
Image
The benchmarks as always are that VIK should be over budget, and have their total salaries close to 10M (as they were reported in VLT). Leksand should be a fair bit over budget as they almost went bankrupt. AIK should probably not be over budget, but since changing their rep messes up everything else I judged them as being close enough. They also did a "cheap season" so they should have a pretty low total. The bottom teams that are just out of Swe-3 should be chronically over budget, because that's just how tiered sport works. Björklöven, Karlskoga and Sundsvall are always over budget as long as you stay within realistic reputations, so they will be messed up no matter what you do.

Also, barring extreme cases (Pantern, Sundsvall and Kongsvinger in Nor-1) the game always puts your salary budget too low. So even though most teams look like they are over budget, they won't actually be in-game. As in they will still have money at the lowest low in the summer. The higher your revenue becomes the more excess money you will get, It's not rare to sit on 8 digits worth of cash for years on end while still only having a low/mid 7 digit salary budget.

Just played my first season. Played with hometown team Timrå IK, and find one big problem. Adam Ohre, who is a backup IRL is in the game ranked as one of the best goaltenders in Sweden, he's been racking it up with Skellefteå in the SHL after I fired him. And why did I fire him? I did not think he was OP and he did have a salary of 465k SEK per year, which is 38 750 per month, which is atleast 13k SEK too much. I don't know how he can be that good or why he's got that salary. Just a thing I thought I'd point out.

I took a look at Ohre in the current database, and his starting CA is 80 and his PA is -6 (90-120); five other goaltenders in the HockeyAllsvenskan have a -6 PA and three have a -7 PA (110-140).....four goaltenders have a "set PA" of 110-114 and three others have a "set PA" of 115-120; fourteen goaltenders in the Allsvenskan have a higher starting CA than Ohre

In the SHL 28 of the 30 goaltenders have a starting CA higher than Ohre.....11 goaltenders have a starting CA of 115-120 and two have a starting CA higher than 120; nine SHL goaltenders have a "set PA" higher than 120; four goaltenders have the same PA as Ohre and six goaltenders have a PA higher than Ohre (one -7, five -8)

So...in conclusion, I think Ohre's success in your save was "luck of the draw" and small sample size (there's no database evidence that he's overrated IMO)

Maybe that's not a right place to post here, but after update 9.0 (9.1?), in SHL disappeared all players with status "for loan".
Earlier always around 50-60 players who are 17-19 YO had that status.

Thank you! Guess I´ll have to do some more saves to see if was just the luck of the draw. Was more concerned with his salary though.

Swedish J16 is missing a "short name" which make all news with the short name in it just leaving a blank space instead.

According to the website of the team they started 1906, but they did not play hockey until 1955 after they merged with IK Ymer that started their hockey team in 1946.

I'll add it here since there isn't a section specifically for the CHL, but how come in the latest update there are zero Swedish competing? instead we have 3 norwegian, 6 austrian etc

There is a few players in Brynäs that shouldn't be there and vice versa. Mikael Johansson, Louie Caporusso, Marc Zanetti (loan) are gone and Sandström and Paille seems to be long time injured.
Fernström and Drew Miller should be added.

Have been having a play around with the editor in an attempt to get both British Qualifiers this year involved.

The issue is (I think) with still having to use the old competition format and the 'CHL Licence' system. I've removed a couple of DEL non-qualifying teams (Some of which had 'A' Licences and now have Frolunda showing up. Just need to have a mess about with the others now.

Edit: At a guess I'd imagine that the Euro leagues that are 'actively' researched had the club licences updated, and the ones that haven't still have their 'old' CHL 'A' Licence (founding teams that were guaranteed entry each year) with licences (and automatic qualification).

I've taken out all of the 'A' Licences from my game, managed to get a couple of Swedish and both UK teams in, but the game seems to still take too many teams from some leagues?

Hey, I´m missing clubs from the swedish league in the european club competition, European Champions Cup (Champions Hockey League), after this roster update. Will there be a fix for that ?
Thanks for a great job! =)

Manimal, is this an issue I can fix in the meantime by myself through an editor, or do I have to wait for the update?

Our release got delayed as we want more stuff in it.
You can edit it with the Continental license on the clubs. I have the Swedish teams with CHL A or B licenses. This will only affect year one. From year two the settings are hard-coded

More feedback it was right my post above when i check the information for Swedish HockeyEttan it says right on the information by the teams. In HockeyEttan you pick a team that belongs to West then you only meet the teams in the West over 22 round, Same with the teams in South too only meet each other and not teams from West East North and so on.
