Almost ready, just want to finish the Flames org, should have them done by Monday.

Do you think you can release a fully updated version but with the rosters "as of date xxx" ?

I'd love a pre-trade deadline frenzy update with your in-depth info and modifications

(I'm thinking a roster update right before or after the Phaneuf/Gaborik trade, for instance).

Sorry I can't I can barely keep on top of this one database . The TBL guys are fully welcome to export my player histories/types/whatever and pull it into the next TBL release. Happy to help with that grunt work as well if archi or manimal want, I've helped them in the past.

Got a report from another forum where the sim is crashing on the second day of FA with the latest release, has anyone else experienced this?

yes...i saved the game on july 3rd and starting simming a bunch of times and it crashes around july 15th for me!

Hmmm this may be beyond my knowledge to troubleshoot but can you PM me your email address? I'd like to acquire your downloaded copy of the DB and saved game, I can poke around in the editor and maybe identify what is happening.

Version 2.3.2 is here, next release will be 2.4 which will be released on Steam. Expect this to come in a few weeks (will finish refreshing NHL teams and affiliates) and begin starting updating other leagues as their seasons enter the playoffs.

Hey game is crashing on me on July 8th 2018 each time for me with the newest update. Anyone else?

Let me work on troubleshooting this today, can you PM me your email so I can acquire your save game to troubleshoot? I'll sim through quick today on my own and try to figure it out.

I see from Reddit that you're planning to put this on Steam eventually. If you haven't already, make sure you add your name to the Author field in your database. You will find this in the Editor - click on Data -> Database Header.

Depends on what happens with this crash issue, but yea that is the plan and thanks!

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has NOT had this issue, as it seems like it occurs no matter what, and it's a potential show-stopper for me.

Just an update on what’s been going on the last 24 hours. It looks like I’ve identified the bug and I’m working as quickly as possible to move over updates from 2.3.2 to the old 2.2 roster. Basically I have to undo all the work I did with the USPHL, which stinks but stability is more important.

Once I get a clean roster completed and it’s stable I’ll likely release it as 2.4 and post it here for testing. Once that is verified as stable I’ll finish the 4 NHL orgs I have left to touch up then release 2.4.1 to Steam as a final update for this season.

Once that is out I will shift to Europe, SHL/Liiga/KHL/DEL/Swiss National A and Czech. I think the Czech and Liiga need the most attention so maybe I’ll start there I don’t know.

As you can see, lots of work! If anyone wants to help loading data into spreadsheets for me to import please PM me I’d be very grateful as will the rest of the community!

What do you mean by touch ups (for the NHL teams)?

What help do you need? My working hours mean I cannot help during the week but I might be able to lend a hand this weekend.

Just a once over for the teams I started with when I began the DB that now need some love and care from the beginning of the year, mostly it's career history that needs to be filled out.

Thanks man, I'm not 100% sure but my gut says it's something to do with those African nation teams that were overwritten while creating teams. In the 2.2 DB where I had not yet created any new teams but only edited existing this issue does not occur. It's also the only thing that looks out of place but maybe you will see something I missed.

I've nearly finished the roster management work on the Editor (it is has been a heap of work). I'll take a look at this national team issue afterwards. Hopefully I can get the bottom of what is going on...

Ok all my changes are completed, some work I'll have to re-do (such as historical team records) but it's small stuff that honestly I'll approach later in the summer. I'm going to run a couple of sims tonight and if it looks good I'll release 2.4 tomorrow morning.

Or not, still crashing......must be something with the data import? Just doesn't make sense...will take you up on that offer Archi if I can't get this figured out by the weekend.

Sorry I'm talking to myself on here but I've pinned it down to a staff issue, renaming the teams, importing player history both did not induce a crash, so I will comb through my staff to see if I can identify the issue. This makes sense also because it's a crash on a random date so it must be some character or value causing the problem when a team attempts to sign or make a transaction involving a specific person.
