Sorry that I'm asking, but where do I change the team name?
EDIT: I didn't looked all over the "joining" page, no wonder I didn't got a team... I guess that I'm too tired.

I think we have room for up to 20 teams so there should be a few spaces left. Brian will be able to confirm this and send you an invitation e-mail.

I would also like to join, if there's still room. It does sound like a lot of fun.

League has been expanded from 12 to 14 teams(with the potential for 6 more teams), and an invite sent to gibson41.
rottamies, I'll need your e-mail address (via here or private message, whatever you prefer), and I'll send you an invite.

"For the sake of our league competition, I have set foot in Sheffield England (did a Google image search) to purchase (photoshop) only the finest silver cup (PNG image), for which our fantasy hockey league shall compete."
You can check it out in the
League Trophy Catalogue.
...My role playing = totally awesome.

Correction = Role Playing, World Class
I can eat my breakfeast out of that when I beat you all to win it. Key Evil Laugh: Muhahahahahahahah
I think that the cup should be made bigger, and perhaps gold.
Can you make trophies for all sorts of things like leading goal scorer, assists, etc... That'd be good stuff.

I think when it's awarded it will be bigger(200x200). The small one seen in the catalogue is just the thumbnail(90x90).
As for other trophies - yes, I can make a trophy for anything, good or bad, and award it with full freedom.
In fact, their default trophy options are: Banner - blue, orange, green, red, yellow / Cup - gold, silver, bronze / Medal - gold, silver, bronze. And of course, I can reference an image off the net, like I did with the league trophy(which is the original Stanley Cup, by the way).

That's very cool!
It's definitely something you could eat your Cornflakes out of. Of course it would be a box of Cornflakes with a picture of Michael Phelps on the front

In keeping with good old hockey tradition, I had to create a championship banner to be awarded along with the Cup.

Nice!

It's even got the "TBL Look" to it.

Forgive an ignorant TBL-newbie, but who is/was Minstrel? I think I remember a member here with that nick but just vaguely

He is admin of the site, who hasn't lately been able to visit us do to other things in the real world taking his time.
And If I'm not terribly mistaken he was also part of the EHM research team.

Yeah, "Minty" was pretty much the king of TBL - doing and running just about everything.
P.S. Invite sent to Lidas. That gives us a 15 team league, with 5 more teams possible.

As long as I can just go off a list and not be live drafting..I will try. Send invite to
batmom74@ telus dot net.

batmom, eh? I don't believe we were made aware of this apparent change...
Anyway, invite sent to batdad. We're now running at an impressive 16 teams, with 4 expansion slots available.
I think if everyone sticks to their teams through the whole season, this could be one fun and competitive league.

Indeed, i think im going to be available at the live draft too which im psyched about. Is everyone available for the draft or will people just be setting lists and working off them?

I know I'll be there. Flyers pre-season game(hopefully televised); last for us at the Spectrum; live fantasy hockey draft... I can't wait.
I'm still critiquing my list to death, though. I'd hate to find out at the last minute I can't get on the computer for whatever reason, and have my whole team blown.

I'm going to try to make the live draft. Unless something comes up and I won't be home, I should be there.

Minty was indeed the King of TBL. He was integral in making the site as successful as it has become. I sorely miss his presence on TBL.

A few days ago I sent him a PM on Popomundo to see if he's interested in joining the fantasy league as he has played them on ESPN for very many years (I think he may have admin'ed them for a while, too) - I haven't had a reply thus far...
Stinson, those graphics are fantastic! The banner is very "TBL"

I mentioned the honorary trophy title to him the other day and he got a good laugh out of it. He said he had kind of fallen out of touch with fantasy hockey so much that he probably wouldn't know anyone outside of his Blackhawks players. I can kind of relate. I don't follow the rest of the league nearly as much as I used to.
