Hey, guys! Does anyone want me as a teammate? Who am i allowed to join?

You're welcome to join whoever you wish. Probably a good idea to pair up with a more experienced person. But it's very easy to play so it won't take very long before you become a pro.

Aye, it doesn't seem to difficult, i've teamed up with Joe and just gone quickest in Practice thanks to Joe.

Archie and Calv haven't been yet though.

Sure there is!
You can join Jays_leafs4life in the "Try and Catch me RC" team or join me in the "Team Spirit".
We still need two players to join!

It's Reynaldo28, I talked him to join.
Now we're ready to start.
Shall I start the game now, or shall we wait for more players?

Has anyone else recently shown an interest in this? I think we might already have everyone joined. If so, lets get going woohoo

JoeHelmer, did you create our private game? If so, did you close the performance gaps between the cars?
Posted: Wed Mar 04, 2009 2:32 pm
by joehelmer
I think so, I'm not sure though. I checked the settings now and it doesn't say anything about "Performance gaps".

Well, when i took a look at the qualifying results today there is a huge gap between my team and the other three.
Could be two reasons: either our setup was much better or it's just the better vehicle.
When you create a private game (from what i know) you can set the performances of the cars to other values than the default ones. If we have the default settings this will be a boring series because the Astra (the car from ma team) is far better than the other two cars. So his is kind of unfair, i think.

I didn't noticed anything like this when I created the game.
But if it is so we should restart, if we're able to do so, with new settings.
But my team is also a Astra and we got beaten by a driver from Try and Catch me and one from the team, and it's a big gap between you and your teammate as well, so it may have been our qualifying strategies that is the difference.

For the Race, are we able to follow it lap-by-lap, or is it simply simulated to the end? Like qualifying?
Posted: Wed Mar 04, 2009 8:59 pm
by joehelmer
It's simulated, but we get a lap-by-lap report.
