reduce the player attributes, it is unrealistic to Ovechkin had a season from 67 to 72 goals and had 142 points ... and other players as well ...

Ryan Strome has the same problems as Martin Frk in that the month/day of his birthday are reversed, causing him to be drafted a year later than he should be.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a prevalent error, I may take a closer look at a lot of the draft-eligible guys sometime later.

It is the whole Euro/American date-thing. We post day and month different ways. I will be more careful from now on

Some number corrections for the Vancouver Canucks:

Christian Ehrhoff: 5
Manny Malhotra: 27
Aaron Rome: 29
Jeff Tambellini: 10
Raffi Torres: 13

Is it also allowed to post some rating suggestions for the Canucks?

I haven't updated all jersey numbers, yet.
You can post your suggestions, but there is no guarantee that all will make the db

The 300k salary cap is in place since this is the top end that EIHL teams are paying atm.

British updates will be done soon, EIHL & EPL rosters should be correct when I'm finished but not EPL/SNL etc...

Yes, Do it yourself! There is no way I'll release a new version with such a little change in it

I believe the Salary cap in-game is slightly lower than 300k. It is set as weekly in the editor and I might have calculated with a calendar-year and not over a season.

I had an experiment yesterday, if you set the salary cap to 0 in the transfer config file it gets rid of the cap completely. I think this is the best thing to do since there is no salary cap in real life.

Okay, i don't know what is the problem but game is break down in the same day all the time. I'm starting the second season and game is going down always in that day. So maybe i have to re-install game, but if the problem is in rosters? What would it be?

Sounds reasonable

I've also found this way that the bigger clubs spend more money than the smaller clubs, rather than all of the clubs just spending up to the cap as before. This is more realistic to what we see in real life

Same problem, my day is 6.10.2007...

And more mistakes:
Harri Rindell, free agent --> HPK head coach
Pasi Räsänen(Pelicans), ast.coach --> head coach
Max Kenig retired and is now physio
Jukka Nieminen, RIP (Phoenix Coyotes)
Kimmo Kytölaakso retired and is now Pelicans Jr.'s Goaltending Coach

And a few players have retired:

Teemu Kohvakka
Kasper Kenig
Niko Mikkola
Tino Välimäki

Actually Calv you are right! This reflects the real life as bigger teams sign bigger players.

Calv i have actually just tryed to delete the salary cap and then once loaded the cap is gone but every single club for some reason in the ELITE league still has a £9200 salary cap why?

Or Manimal any ideas?

I think we can not affect the salary cap with the editor. I have noticed, more players up the higher the salary cap.

I already solved it i just deleted the cap alltogether for elite and now as the lowest attendance team i can not sign as much as the higher attendance teams its great like real life!

Playing later half of second season with Guelph Storm. I have seen about 100 draftable players better than any player on my current roster. Is this second mass coming of jesuses usual? :-o

Some stuff from my corner of the world. The Prince George Cougars can't be selected from the team chooser. Also, the following players aren't on the roster.

Brock Hirsche
Spencer Asuchak
Caleb Belter
Jaroslav Vlach
Troy Bourke
Taylor Makin
Tayler Thompson
Daniel Gibb
Joshua Smith (there is a Josh Smith, but he's too old)
Linden Springer
Cody Carlson (he's on the roster but too old)
Shane Pilling
James Priestner
Ty Rimmer

I haven't checked the entire draft, but Alex Forsberg, who was the 1st overall pick in the bantam draft just gone, is not in the game either.

The following aren't on the roster in real life, (haven't been for a while) but are in the game:
Kurt Torbohm
David Greyeyes
Alex Wright

Also, the 'Cariboo Canucks' are now the 'Cariboo Cougars' and their roster and information is at http://www.cariboocougars.ca/team

Sorry, but I havent had the time to update the WHL properly. I could use a WHL-researcher. Are you interested?
In-game there is one less team in the league than IRL so the last-place team from last year(Prince George) was relegated to Jr.A.

A couple of missing players:

Julius Junttila, Kärpät
Nico Lehto, Kärpät

And Kärpät's forward Joonas Komulainen should be center or center/winger, in the database he is just a winger. ;)
