I know there's a few things you can't change, like number of teams per league and such, but is there any possibility of having Adirondack Phantoms not play in the ECHL? I know I'm probably one of a very selected group of people to have gotten the respected post as the Trenton Titans manager, but it sucks having your best players being moved by the Flyers to Adirondack, who just happen to be a rival team in the league (and for some reason, a very clear son number one). I know the AHL expanded and Adirondack is the only real AHL team with an ECHL affiliate to play in the ECHL in the latest update, so my suggestion is get rid of Adirondack and make Trenton the only Flyers affiliate, or vice versa (my vote goes to A, because it's the newer team and T being a former Kelly Cup winner). Of course you could solve this by combining the two teams and reviving the old Philly Phantoms, the Spectrum and all.

FYI You can make such changes yourself in the PreGame Editor (it's not hard to "fix")

I know. I meant that more as a future reference. And I know it's probably a non-issue for most EHM gamers, since the problem only comes up when managing the Titans.

If a league has more teams IRL than in the game, then I will demote the teams with the worst record. Last year, Adirondack was one of them. They will be in the AHL in 5.0 as they have played better this season.
This is a strict rule for me.

OK, fair enough. And this really isn't an issue in any other league except the ECHL, where two teams can end up affiliated wtih the same NHL team. Anyways, consider this topic closed on my part. I'll wait for the 5.0 update before taking over the Titans again and go back to managing in the WHL in the mean while.

One small thing to fix is adding more names to the database. Especially some of the smaller countries give the impression that they got teams consisting of only family members. I could mybe take on doing some kind of list for a couple of countries. I guess it's about last priority but it's an easy fix nonetheless.

Sure, you can do that.
But I am still waiting for your rating of the NHL coaches...

Oh, I'm sorry to say it but I actually forgot it, not that I've had any time for it for a long period. Now that my sports photo season is over and my work load has been lowered I hope to finally go back to things like EHM. I can do the ratings but probably not have them finished hopefully before the end of May. The summer will be occupied with loads of work and other things.

Friggin lack of time, I've only been at home for (really) short stints of time as I live at two places for work and only got internet here. It sucks and takes away both time and energy but I hope to somewhat finish the staff in the coming two days, but it has been way tougher than I anticipated.

Someone may have stated this and I missed it but alot of prospects already in team's organizations need serious work done on them. I look at the AHL and many players who have bright futures have 110 PAs. I don't know if it's randomized and always is so low or what, but it's weird seeing teams like Detroit suck in 3 years because alot of good prospects have low PAs.

It is being looked at. All players under 20 has random PA, though.
If there is any examples you'd want me to look at just pass me the names of the players

Just off the top of my head Eddie Lack and Thomas Hickey should be better imo. And that explains why I saw Pearson on the Jets with a 96 PA since he was under 20 at startup, thank you for the response.

Läck will definately be improved! I think he can become a solid back-up in the NHL
Daelh is currently working on the ratings for all NHL teams

I'm about 5 years into a canuck game with 4.1b and I don't think a single prospect has done much of anything. The problem with prospects is that they are just that.... prospects and some make it and many do not. Unless you're a high first round draft pick the odds are not really all that good so it's hard to know which one's will emerge and which ones will flop. That said, I'd surely like to have a few prospects that actually make the NHL on most every team.

From 4.2 and forward we have started to reduce the regens so that the real players stand a chance of making the NHL

I'm what you call a person that doesn't post an awful lot on anything other than a few emails once and awhile. But I certainly needed to post here today to let all of you people know that all your hard work is not going unnoticed. I for one am very appreciative and grateful that all of you have dedicated numerous hours, endless research and ratings revamps to this game and without you all this game would have died many years ago!
This was the best 30 bucks or so I spent many years ago when it was released, I respect SEGA and what they achieved with this game but a handful of years have passed now and SEGA has absolutley no affiliation with EHM anymore other than selling and profiting the occasional copy here and there, so the true success belongs in all of you's ! I don't mean to sound harsh or anything of that matter but a spade is a spade here, and without the strong blueline support I don't think we'd have this much fun playing this game continousley as we all have been.
I'd also like to say that there are a few up and coming fantasy hockey games coming out or have been out, I'm truley waiting on the OOTP makers with they're hockey game and in the meantime, I will play this game knowing they're plenty of people out there enjoying the game as much as I have been for these many years.
Cheers and agian thanks to everyone invovled !

I completely agree with this. I love GMing in Europe, and always the same names showup. Sooo .... I decided to work on that and I am making an excel sheet with tons of new surnames. Names I get from Eliteprospect or something similar - just to mass edit this stuff. Then I am using Archis Updater and create thousands of new staff members (dunno, naff scouts and so on). Then the names should be in the database. I hope this works!!! If yes, I'd be happy to share this file so you guys can use it as well?! If not, then I need to make a program capable of adding the names directly to the database.
So far I have 20k new names, mainly european ones....

Forward the list to me and I will do something. I won't import them all (don't want to flood the db with unuseful data), but I will definitely use the list when it will be needed. And trust me, it will.
