Yeah, I think it's a bit bogged down from everyone running back to see if it's on
Since we all got mood/health boosts this is an ideal time to start a new song as your health and mood affect the quality of songs and we ain't gunna get much better than this!
Calv; you need to get in touch with a doctor. I've had some success messaging them but it can take a bit; and you have to find one that is currently in NYC. They come by (leave your door open) take your blood and give you a vial of medicine. Try dropping a message to Johan Adelflod and tell him you'll but him some medicine base if he can help you out, you can buy it at the hospital and drop it in you appartment for them to grab. There is a page with doctors listed on the Forums.
Luckily once you get a cure you can't get the same strain of flu from someone again if they kiss you or something.

You sure thats a good idea? We're about to go on tour, and judgeing from our show times we won't have alot of time to practice new songs. It's probably better to get our skills up as high as we can so we put on the best performance we can.

We have five days till Toronto, then another 5-6 days off till LA etc. Quality potential as I understand it locks in to your health/mood when you begin writing so all you need is that first update and then you can come back and polish 'er off later. So it's a great time to start a new song and you can worry about finishing it later on.

Say Minstrel, that's a fine looking 'Play The Drums' book you have in your apartment. Can I pick it up?

If not, I can understand.

You need to get your Basic Percussion skill up to three stars before you could read it... so right now you'd pick it up and try to read it and be all

I dun getit

I picked that one up for Kyle since I saw it at a 2nd hand store. You shouldn't walk around with books or they'll get stolen from you which is why I left it at my appt. We learned that lesson the hard way.
Let me know when you can use one though and I can grab one for ya.

Yea Mintrel, I know I have to wait for a while to read it. Too bad it aint for me...I thought Richard and April had a good time...
P.S. If anyone encounters a 'Basic Percussion Instruments' Book that's UNDER 2000$ buy it for me, and I'll pay you $$$ back for sure.

Eh, they probably deserved it; we are an unsavory lot.
Hmm percussion under 2000? That's the highest price actually, try any of these:
Kelsey's Shop - NY 1 010 US$ 2
Lily's Bargain Barn 1 025 US$ 1
Feng Shaun - New York 1 050 US$ 2
Whitley's Clothes N Stuff 1 050 US$ 1
Happy Hour shopping NY 1 050 US$ 1
Adeline's Mall • NY 1 050 US$ 1
Outrageous of New York 1 100 US$ 1
Gromit's Book Shop - NY 1 100 US$ 1
Fantumi Books NYC 1 100 US$ 1
I'm doing my standard start a song get it almost finsihed then use a bunch of seeds so I'm back to like 50% now

Well at least we have one new song for the Toronto gigs 'cause I don't know if I'll finish this one before the trip. May have to wait for an LA debut.

Wow... the timeframe for writing songs really bogs down when you have three or more seed in on one aspect of a song. That's how many I had on music with You Gut Me which I was last compaining about it taking forever to finish. I have the same thing with my new song and just got an update in which I improved the melody from 55 to 60%. So that means eight more updates locked in my appartment slaving over the melody before it will be done. Yikes.
On You Gut Me though at least the melody turned out "sweet" so it was worth it; this one better be at least that good too or I'll be pizt.
Question though: What have people gotten Lyrics seeds from doing? I get a musical/melody seed almsot every time I download music illegally (5 out of 6 times I think it is now) but wonder what has a better chance of inspiring lyrical seeds

I get mine the same way as you, but I've read (I think, it may have been my imagination) that you can get seeds from watching other bands perform at clubs.

Just for the record a buddy of mine from my image editing site is also playing; he was in LA but moved to NY recently. His name in the game is Christopher Numbers so if you want another character to talk to and know they're not an idiot look him up. He works at TPIH too
Calv, cool we'll add it tot he Toronto shows if we can cram in a jam session before we leave. I think mine will have to wait for the LA swing but that will give us 10 songs
EDIT: Hey, it's 3rd on the sort by Quality listing

I've wedged in a jam for today at noon so you guys still can make your flights but we can take two brand new songs on the road. Maybe we'll do one each night

Happy PopoFriday!!!
April's gift to the TBL Punk Scene today is free Basic Yoga books

Basic Yoga helps your physical health stay stronger and adds to the effect of excercise and working out at the gym. Seemed like a cool thing to have and I found a bunch of places selling them for like 200 bucks so I bought out a few shops. I've given them the TDG guys already to help us with our travel stress...
BUT there are two copies first come first served at
April's Place. Just come by and pick one up.
I have a Street Lore book there too but please leave it as I bought it for my buddy so he'd have some money for his character.

We should try and organize to get our learn on when we get back from TO as I have skills to teach too
Speaking of Toronto glad to see everyone made it in okay

I think Palmer's stage name should be "The Germ" though

I see in your diary in back to back entries:
I feel weird... The doctor told me that it is Cold.
I'm feeling better now. The Flu has gone away.
I booked us an early jam session tommorow (between shows) here in TO to get a better handle on and play Cy's new song at the second show, if he doesn't wander away from the jam and not come back we'llprobably do better too
EDIT: Holy balls!!!!

TO guys, check out this store: Shop in Heaven it's
insane they are fully stocked which means all available options, for example they have FIFTY different colors of belts.
