Did you start your saved game using v13.2.5? I believe the crash was fixed prior to v13.2.5 so it sounds like you started your game using an earlier roster unless there is another issue,

There was small update before I started today...

Hello, when I try to start a new game with the latest version I get this fatal error message after clicking new career game: v1.4.1 select_leagues_screen.cpp 114. Any idea for how to solve this? Appreciate your work.

That error means you're still running EHM v1.4.1. You need to opt in to EHM v1.5 in order to run the TBL Roster. See "How to Opt in to the Beta" here: https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/site/202 ... -released/

Oh okay, I tried to get the beta but since I'm on a Mac using PlayOnMac I couldn't get it to work. For some reason you can't get right click -> Preferences to work so can't get to the screen where you opt in. I googled and found others on the EHM reddit had the same problem but no solution yet, so thought I'd play 1.4.1. for now until 1.5 exits the beta stage and the game updates.

Are you able to use the EHM Editor? If so, you could open the DB in the Editor and change the DB version back to 1.4.1. You should then save it to a new sub-folder under the 'database ' folder within your EHM installation.

I cannot guarantee this will work 100% as the DB may use v1.5-specific values, but it's well worth a try.

Haven't tried using the editor yet, I'll see if that works or if I can find any other solution. If anyone else knows how to get the beta to work on a Mac please hit me up.

Update: got 1.5. to work now using Parallells. Can't use the editor though, get an error message saying the code execution can't proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. At least I got the game working now so this is a nitpick but would be nice to be able to use the editor (was just gonna raise the salary cap).

MSVCP140 is the MSVC runtime version 14, aka VS 2015

Hi everyone,

This is not a crash but I have noticed that I cannot scout the WHL. I am using TBL 14.1 with all leagues selected.

When I try to assign my scout to the WHL, go to Scouting - Assign Scout - League - Canada, the available leagues to scout goes from the Alberta Collages Athletic Conference down to Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League U18. Is it that I have simply put too many leagues in the game?

Any advice would be great

Hey I just tried (twice) to start a new game with the 22-23 rosters, and the game crashes to desktop when parsing extra.cfg files.

Edit: I tried again, but this time instead of having every league checked, I only had the NHL checked, and it did not crash.

Hi all. I'm new to the game, just downloaded it for the first time, so apologies if this is dumb or it's been asked a billion times.

I subscribed to the TBL 2022-23 custom database, as well as some logo and pic add-ons from Steam Workshop. They appear in the add-ons section of EHM and appear to be activated (at least there's a checkmark by them), but when I go to start a new game only the default databases show up. I've ensured all the add-ons are fully installed from Steam, and they appear to be in the steamapps\workshop\content\301120 folder. Is there something more I'm supposed to do?

Have you opted into the v1.5 EHM beta? It sounds like you're running v1.4.1 which isn't compatible with the latest rosters.

Using V15.0. Downloaded the TBL latest roster.

My first offseason playing in the OHL. During the OHL priority draft, every team (including mine) could only draft the first two rounds, no rounds after that. Is their a bug or error or am I missing something? I thought there's 15 rounds?

Update: Managed to fix it. Seems like the entry for Rules/Structures for the OJHL had 21 teams instead of 22. Simple fix in the Editor once i found it
