When you have it open you can change the salary cap.

If you go to tab Competitions and select Financial info you also can find the cap setting. But if you change it there it doesn´t work in the game. This took me a while to learn. =)

Yes it still works. You just need to make sure you download the latest version from the first post of this thread and that you've opted in to the EHM v1.5 beta.
