Do you mean what player has what role?
If so, then export player attributes with the EHM Updater and sort it by league

Yeah exactly. Okey, i'll look into that if there is no easier way (maybe that is a super easy way though, i'm just not familiar with the EHM Updater).

Now, you have a reason to get familiar!
It might be handy in the future

Hehe yeah, i'll download it and check it out :) Then i'll spam you guys with all the players i think have the wrong roles (probably won't be any though since you guys are mostly spot on) :)

Edit: Dumb question, where do i find the EHM Updater?

At a quick glance of the new 7.4 database, every player I checked from xxxxx, Ontario, Canada shows: xxxxx, Virginia, Canada ... much as they may want to the states haven't invaded us yet ...

Quick question:

The SERC Wild Wings in the DEL have been renamed "Schwenninger Wild Wings". Which is a good thing !

But my logos for the team don't work anymore. I thought no problem, and I renamed them to the new appelation, as I usually do, but the logos still don't appear. Any ideas?

Edit : I wasn't in the good size folder, nevermind, problem solved

Yeah even the States are messed up. Ryan Miller is from Michigan but ends up being from Florida

An issue between the pre-game editor and the game where things got mapped differently. Hope it doesn't effect the CHL....

Unless some stats are randomized.. Anthony Duclair is IMO a bit too slow...as he was the fastest skater in the recent Coyote prospect camp.

Nice work on the surprise update! I do appreciate the buffs you gave some of the Junior players like Domi who needed a slight buff to match their real life status, which I assume will prevent those odd looking regressions from their previous years...and seeing everyone overall putting up more realistic junior numbers! (Especially Dvorak)

Oh and a question, since I don't see a patch notes list on what was updated (besides additions of new leagues) Is it possible and if so, was the player aging modified so we don't see Iginla and other top notch "older" players becoming obsolete or discarded after year 1?

A patch changelist is posted by SI with every update (and then reposted on TBL by Archi http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =3&t=13623)

There is no player aging Attribute, and no way to edit/affect player aging. The player aging occurs based on the game programming (this thread is for the TBL Rosters), and AFAIK no changes have been made (I actually don't recall noticing other posts/concerns about "older top notch players" playing only 1 year)

I meant in regards to the TBL rosters, on second thought I imagine it'd be too much to specify who or what has been tweaked (in regards to players). The TBL patch notes seem to only make you think that roles have been added, I was (pleasantly) surprised to see so many attribute tweaks.

I've noticed Tanguay, Briere, Iginla, Jagr, Vrbata, etc get waived in year 2.

Really sorry about that. There was a minor typo in the Updater v3.0.0b code which meant that it was going through each record in the Cities table but not actually doing anything (i.e. not updating the State ID for each record). Hence they all became mismatched.

There's a fixed version of the rosters here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 02#p195902

FYI Just to show how tiny the typo in the Updater was, here's a screenshot of the issue (BEFORE) and fixed typo (AFTER):

well, i've noticed this aswell, Henrik Sedin scored 35 points the next season, Datsyuk 40 points, Oduya went to Europe (with bad ratings), Hossa 36 points, etc. I think the game is too strict/severe on making older players get worse as soon as they get around 35 years old, i know it happens in real life but there's good players who maintain a good performance after 35,36,37 years old

I just noticed on my first game with the 7.4 roster that I cannot sign anyone in the ECHL. All of the sudden my board will not let me do a thing. Any idea what is causing this? My usual moves starting out in the ECHL are not working, and no moves work really.

Weird.

To be clear, I am the Tulsa Oilers (ECHL) and trying to sign guys like Brock Beukaboom and Liam Stewart. It says I can but the board will only allow 0$$

For me I really like data as "proof" and a handful of players from one game is a pretty small sample size (and noting PTS but not GP doesn't tell the whole story)...
In TBL 7.4 there are fifty-four NHLers who are 35+ at start-up, plus another thirty-five in the rest of the world with an "NHL CA" (120+).....

For me guys like Iginlia, Sedin and even Datsyuk are nearing the end of their careers (IRL I'm not sure any vet who's 35+ is still "top notch talent" in todays game)

Player budgets and club cash are tricky to edit as they don't always look like we input them as.
We have not done any work with the ECHL budgets. What you can try is to use the pre-game editor and try yourself. Then you would have to start a new game

I wasn't trying to prove anything really ,just a comment of something i've noticed in more than "one game". I didn't mean they should be "top notch talent" past 35 years, my point was they decline almost always after their 35th birthday, like it's a strict age of declining. It should be a bit more "natural", some players should decline after 34, another after 35, or 36, etc. Datsyuk is 36 (near 37) and scored more than a point per game in the NHL. Sorry for my english

OK.....you did comment in a thread for "mistakes, omissions, tweaks"

I'm in the midst of compiling a bunch of EHM:EA test data, so "proof" is probably on my mind HaHa

I'm not sure if I fully understand the question. Can you clarify? I'll then try to help. However, I'm guessing your query doesn't relate to mistakes/omissions/tweaks to the rosters and therefore belongs in a different thread.
