That bench thing is a good idea. Just did it myself.
Anyway...
I have Bourque LW/RW, Pavelski (C), Morrow (LW), Hartnell (LW), Filpulla(C), J Jokinnen(LW), and Blake, Seabrook, Lidstrom, and Sami Salo available for
as you all know..an upgrade to my D keeper spot.
Right now I have Lidstrom and Seabrook there, but am willing to move one of them to upgrade the other one.

That is what the trading block is for.

Sure it is, but when you're able to look at all players stats in the same time you see their availability, it makes all so much (=many clicks/tabs) easier.

I've really got to find the time to look at everyone's teams and start making some trade offers...

Could we get our trophies on the TBL page? I have my 3rd from last season showing, and would love to see everyone get credit for this season's stuff on the site as well.

I'm loving my keepers at forward and d. Now should I keep Ward or Bryz? Opinions?

Tough one. I think the Hurricanes will be much better next year. And i still can't see how Phoenix made the playoffs this year... Their roster is average...
Ward wins it for me.

They don't have to deal with any pressure from the home fans... 'cause they don't have any!

You should be loving your keepers, as they're awesome
And about your keeper G, comparing last season's stats I'd take Bryz with his 8 shutouts and more games started. But as Canes' goalie situation may be changing while Legace is going to be an UFA in summer, Ward may be starting more games next season. It's a tough one and I'd wait and see what happens in Hurricanes' goalie situation before making my mind up.

Ward's been injured alot this last year. So it's difficult to say how he would have done had he been fit all year. Ward is younger as well which i would say works in his favour...

Who's in charge of the Chicago Sun Bears.
Can we please replace them...
They still have Alexander Semin on IR from 2009...

Relegation teams have already been replaced.
Danny is now in charge of the Sun Bears.
Which reminds me, I should probably point out who is who, now that all three of our promoted owners are officially in:
1. Danny has been promoted to owner of the Sun Bears.
2. McQwak has been promoted to owner of the Caerphilly Saints organization, which has been relocated to Prague.
3. Cityatan has been promoted to owner of the Mighty Turnips.

Well I'm afraid I can't trade more now. I can't upgrade any of your keepers (that's what everyone is asking) although many of your "benched" players are better than my keepers. Locked situation
So my hope is the draft.

Yup, I have. Expect Mighty Turnips to get relocated away from Kent whenever I have time to sit down to it. Hopefully during the weekend.
The roster doesn't look that good, to be honest.

-NEWSFLASH-
The Karlstad Killers are re-locating!
Due to a severe lack of funding, the TBLHL franchise is moving from Karlstad to Borås. The team finished second in the standings last year, but fell in the first-round of the play-offs to the eventual champions Marsac's Newbies.
'We have tried everything to keep the team in Karlstad, but this is the best solution for the franchise. We have signed a three-year lease with the city of Borås and we are excited to the new start. We believe we have top-class keepers returning and we hope to have a succesful draft' says Christoffer Backa, GM of the team.
To start out fresh, a name-the-team contest hereby starts. 'We hope to receive several great names to choose from. We want to be able to wear the name with pride as we hope for a succesful future in the city of Borås!'

Couple of announcements:
Our primary league, known last season simply as TBL Hockey League, has been officially named. In honor of long-time and dedicated TBL administrator, the league has been named Minstrel Hockey League.
Also, as you all know, we had plans for a second teir with a promotion-relegation relationship with the Minstrel Hockey League. This league is officially being announced, and will be the Octavian Hockey League. For those unaware, Octavian is an original member of TBL, and continues to provide a server for TBL to be hosted on.
The Minstrel Hockey League will continue to comprise of 14 teams, while the Octavian Hockey League's structure has yet to be finalized. The structure will ultimately depend on interest in fantasy hockey this year.
Lastly, I have some proposed dates:
MHL Keeper Deadline: Saturday, 25 September 2010
2010 MHL Fantasy Draft: Saturday, 2 October 2010
2010 OHL Fantasy Draft: Sunday, 3 October 2010
2010 Season-opener: Thursday, 7 October 2010
This will place the drafts on the weekend before the NHL season opens, and the MHL keeper deadline one week before the drafts. Anyone have any objections with these dates?
Also, does anyone have anything to be discussed for the upcoming season? New rules, changed rules, general concerns, etc., etc.?

Those league names are good idea
And the dates are OK for me.

Sweet, not even ten weeks to goo! Naming the leagues is great, brings in some real dignity - I may have to print me a business card now...
The dates are alright, at least there is enough time left to prepare for the draft.
