fyi guys...slovenia face austria in sochi in a friendly and austria won 4:1..slovenia played without kopitar and austria without their nhl players..
so much of you bet on Austria but boy they were sparked today..nothing better then a great big and important win over our north neighbours!

Hmmm...maybe it's a language thing, but it was a playoff qualification game not a friendly, it was 4-0 not 4-1, Kopitar not only played but scored and Grabner/Raffl/Vanek all played for Austria...

I should have stuck with my buddy Slovenians.

Austria and Slovenia played a pre tournament friendly on the 8th of February which Austria won 4-1

I'm not doing well either...I wish I'd gone with my gut feeling, because I liked Slovenia (no real reason) and I liked Latvia (because of Ted Nolan), but I looked at the predictions of others and didn't have the courage to go against the majority...

Same thing for me. Used head instead of gut on both. One of those two always messes me up in these things. Went with head on both, and gut was telling me not to. Swiss just scored....maybe...who knows.
