I'm afraid we can't give an estimated time frame right now. We tend not to indicate release dates until we're sure of when the next release will be ready. It depends on how long it takes to get all of the work done.

How about contracts? For example Schneider signed a new 7 year deal and in the latest update he's on his last year of his previous contract.

Facepalm. Read the readme file, or look around the answer to that is here.

I did read the file and it says nothing about contracts (in 7.1).

Not going to look back, but it is in a few threads. Reasons include....teams do not set budgets in game for the higher salary cap and never spend anywhere near the higher cap as you move on in the game (AI teams). Contracts do not get renewed to the new cap rates...players who are star 25 year olds going into UFA get left in free agency and the game gets watered down and the only team that spends to the cap is the team a human controls. Trading for the human GM becomes impossible as other teams will not go over budget....and the UFA pool is so easy for human GMs to take advantage of and build super teams so fast its silly.

Now that I look back, I know there is stuff in various challenge threads, and stuff in here. But no worries. There you go.

Yeah I get it about higher salary cap and computer being "silly" but you can adjust those new deals the same as those current to 44m salary cap. Anyway thanks for the answer.

Hudson Fasching should have his rights with the Sabres.

Andrew Alberts was without a contract in 7.0. Is he now contracted with Vancouver?

No, he is a free agent. Just like in real life.
I doubt he'll ever play again. He got a bad concussion

Yes, he should. We missed that, somehow. I've fixed it now

Oh yes, now I remember. :-D

You could also put "Michael Grabner" out with an injury. Maybe a month or two.

EDIT: Mike Fischer's been out with injury from the beginning. Estimated to late November.

Change Varlamov history 2006/07 and 07/08 from Torpedo Yaroslavl to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl
Vadim Shipachyov 2008-09 in Cherepovets should be Rus-3 not Rus-4 Same for Sergei Ogorodnikov 07/08 and Alexander Lazushin 06/07
Also, in my save Teddy Purcell plays first line for Team Canada at Olympics and World Cup... isn't it a bit too much for him?
Denis Denisov was born in Kharkov, Ukraine
Alexander Polushin should be retired
Andris Dzerins 2012/13 played in Dinamo Riga, not Dinamo Minsk. Also I think he should be a C/RW, not the other way around.

That sounds a bit too extreme. :-D But we can't do anything about what the AI does. But he will be a little bit downgraded in the next update.

I have a two-month cut-off date with injuries. Fisher I had as injured.
I will revisit injuries the week before our next release, whenever that is, and try to have them up-to-date

Yes I know. I was referring to as 1 or two months from the date I posted that. He should be 3 months injured from the beginning. ;)

Disclaimer: this is with the previous version, so if names have been worked on please ignore this post.

I've occasionally noted really odd names, recently I've come across the first name "jim" (USA) and family name "Sj" (Sweden).

Simon Hjalmarsson is contracted to Columbus Blue Jackets and playing in Springfield Falcons.

He is playing in KHL for CSKA Moskva this season. But I have no idea about his rights.

EDIT: Well I just found out that CSKA bought his rights 15th October. So I guess he should still be in AHL at the beginning of the season.

He was in the AHL when we made our last release. He'll be in the KHL for our next
