I made some good trades

I got Jamie Oleksiak for Mark Fraser, a 4th, a 5th, and a 6th. I also traded Bryce Salvador for a 3rd. And I just got Lupul for the rights to Alex Urbom and Mattis Tedenby. I havnt lost any other players except Severson didnt make my team, but Brenden Burlon did so he's off to Albany. Ive also made a lot of waiver claims for Trevor Nolan, Shawn Throrton, Greg Nemisz, and some 20 year old last name Dea. Ive also signed Brenden Mikkelson, and Kyrby Reichal. Just waiting to see how anything turns out

I just traded potter to the capitals for a 4th then immediately picked him back up on waivers

I've started a save with Vancouver traded 3 first round picks and some rights and prospects for Patrick Kane got St. Louis as well. Sestito is back in aswell

Won my first exhibition game 3-1 against San Jose

Playing with Ässät of course

Made the playoffs with Detroit, 3rd in the division.

Matchup with the Candiens, go 1 up then lose 3 straight so im knocking the door...

We win games 5 & 6 to setup a decider in Montreal... they go 2 up in the 1st and im thinking we are done. However we fight back and with 1.48 left in the 3rd we score to edge ahead 3-2 and are on the brink.

Less than 30 seconds later, we cough up the equaliser and im desperate now. Into OT and a fight breaks out for the 2nd time in the game, but no further scoring. OT2 and its end to end, we miss chances and then as Montreal break, we fail to close the space and they score with 12:09 left and win the game and series 4-3

A crazy season, but for all of our 53 regular season wins, we are done in the 1st Round!

Playing as VIK Västerås HK (Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan / SwedisH Hockey League):

So my first season I reached SHL's relegation round through HockeyAllsvenskan's play in round and received the 4th spot and last spot from HockeyAllsvenskan in the relegation round. My game crashed and I had to replay the relegation round (I was not able to get promoted and ended 5th when it crashed) and then I got promoted instead! Last round in the relegation series and I beat Frölunda, forcing MODO to play in HockeyAllsvenskan 2015/16.

First SHL-season went pretty good. During the offseason I was smart and signed the best players from HockeyAllsvenskan instead of going for SHL players who demand more money. The season went on and Västerås was between 8th and 12th throughout the whole season. My newly signed players made an impressive work their first SHL-season and almost everyone had more than 0.5 points per game. I also signed Jacob Markström, Yohann Auvitu and Maksim Matushkin during the season.

In round 54 out of 55, Västerås secured the 10th place in SHL by beating Växjö Lakers, forcing Växjö to play the relegation round together with Linköping. Växjö got relegated that season while my team Västerås headed to the Play in round where we played against Frölunda (who went on becomming the champions) where we had no chance. Lost both games with the results 5-2 and 5-1 and the season was over.

I decided to believe in most of my roster and kept the players I signed. A couple had to go but I covered it with top scorers from HockeyAllsvenskan and some decent SHL players. Signed a few young guns as well (Oscar Ekbäck (LW), Kristians Rubins (D), Olle Schelin (C/LW), Markus Olsson (G)). I also reassigned Martin Filander to assistant coach and signed Matjaz Kopitar as the new head coach.

After the World Championship, Slovakia's GM got fired and I applied for the job, which I got now

Let's see how the second SHL season goes, I'm aiming on reaching the quarter finals!

Can't decide what team to pick for new long-term NHL career save

Favorites Toronto, Columbus or Florida, all are good options

Sabres rebuild could be fun as well. Or any aging bad team which has to rebuild soon.

New hidden attributes option is also nice, so no need for ugly attributes hiding background skin anymore. Relying scout reports, stats and match performance only when evaluating players is challenging but fun.

Played a season with SaiPa from Finnish Liiga and finished fourth. Scoring seemed a lot better although most of the goalies had horrible SV%. Got my budget increased by almost 400k too which never happened in the older version. Player salaries seemed a bit low but they were a lot better than some ridiculous salaries before. The game kept crashing on August 8th though so I'm not able to continue the save unfortunately. Probably the save just got corrupted as I forgot to turn off the option for compressed saves. I'll start a game with Tampa Bay now.

Gonna start off with the Red Wings as this is my 1st EHM game.
I wanted to play as a team from the UK but I can't see the choice to select the UK league despite the fact I have the newest TBL rosters downloaded . Does this just mean the english league isn't playable?

I think it makes it more probable. I don't think I've ever had a save get corrupted when I've had that compressed option turned off.

The leagues that are playable is determined by / coded into the game rather than the rosters. I'm hopeful the UK leagues will be playable again eventually.

You should be hopeful EHM follows the direction of FM

FM lets you make any league playable by giving it playable rules in the editor

There are databases that add over 50 countries to the playable list, which should be close to 150 leagues

I am I've played FM before I like Ice Hockey but don't know a whole load about it so this will hopefully help with that. The more leagues for EHM the better and I think the more leagues there are the bigger the community will get in general

Just got started as the Sabres, picked up Eric Cole on waivers and traded a 5th and a non-prospect for Alexei Emelin.

Sent Zadorov back to junior and Ristolainen to Rochester. Don't want my big prospects anywhere near the shitshow I'll have going in the NHL. McEichel here we come!

Just got past Christmas in my first season as the Sens and I'm doing well, 3rd in the East with the best PK in the league. Lazar and Stone are having really good seasons and Ryan has scored 20 so far.

The defensive side of my game isn't too good. I've only had one shutout all season and teams usually score at least 2 past Andy. Other than that the Sens are playing above expectations.

I managed to pick up Sekac too, a total steal! He's been playing great!

It has been a long wait since Ehm 2007. But man it was worth it!!
Started a game with Sharks, and i must say i loving it. The rebuild is in full motion, and i am having a really hard time in getting the stars to produce!

I must be doing something wrong. I using the same playingstyle as in 2007, but somethings have changed..

It´s a real challenge to figure out what to change! This was the best thing this year! (so far)

Otherwise, back to topic, I will definetly start in Europe and considering the leagues available, it will either be Swedish leagues or KHL. Slovan Bratislava seems to be the first team that comes to my minds at the moment. Can't wait, it still feels so surreal, not only that EHM is back again, but that the actual game is already released (I expected a "coming soon" news at best today).

Hehe bro too bad we are limited with choices at the moment... I always normaly started in Slovenian league ...

I started with Sabers just to get use to the game and to figure it out some tatctic then i guess might start a challange.

Iam enjoying it very much so far I must say. Didnt even know they are working on that project at all!

I am starting to think you are right, I will probably get fired before I can implement any real changes to the team.

i am back because my computers crash and this game miss me so much .
I am starting unemployed ready too grab a job on north america , canadian juniors leages amh or nhl . This game is too special and is back... i dessed the game with wath ehm offers and wow guys you maintain and bring back the game that we love .
