Thanks, Daft. I lost my password for the SI forums and I'm having a hard time getting back in.

I'm simply saving every day in game time -- first thing in the morning -- so if I encounter a crash it doesn't matter much. (Unless it happens in the game engine, which hasn't happened to me yet.) This is a trivial inconvenience, given how quickly the game saves, and I think it's well worth it.

Don't know if this belongs here, but there is no option to go to start screen and to load another game, in the dropdown menu, like in football manager.

I had the same experience trying to hire a head coach in the WHL. I couldn't increase it over $1,500, which is also what every candidate asked for. (I'm guessing $1,500 US=$1,600 Canadian in the game?)

I have the same problem in QMJHL with the Val d'or Foreur.. stock at 1.500$/y .. so yeah .. playing with no head coach haha

Okay, so Corey Crawford just went down with a UCL tear for the Blackhawks, out four months, in my second season. They put him on LTIR, and all that. Two days later the Blackhawks WAIVE CRAWFORD, YES, THEY WAIVED HIM. The Sabres then swooped in and snagged him off waivers. Now why in the HELL would the Blackhawks ever waive Crawford?! At least at this point in time.

Playing as the Florida Panthers, training camp of 2015/16 season. I get to September 20th, and my game gets the generic Windows "Program has stopped responding" and crashes. I'm using the most updated rosters, and the logo megapack.

So. I noticed that that the senators made an offer for the rights to this guy, from the lightning. He seemed decent, so I made an offer sheet on him. Seems as though he accepted it. In the meantime though, he rights had transferred to the senators. I think that bugged the message.

Managing ECHL have a player injured for 10 days but the option to put on the disabled list does not show up as an option on either the player screen or the roster screen.

My game keeps stop responding in every league i make. I start the save, i am on the home screen and then i try doing something, like going to tactics, or searching for players or staff and the game stop responding. I have to exit via task manager, because the game isn`t responding. Any ideas?? I have the TBL database (the last one) and the faces megapack, but it`s all been installed correctly.

No worries. Update is out now and this indeed seems to have been resolved.

I forgot about that glitch left over from 07 it got me again. I'm going to edit my lines because there was a fight and when you finish in tactics the game's playing like it never happened

So, just had this happen, after a poor start to my 2nd season at the helm of the Senators. SO anyway, a loss to Buffalo that made me tumble to 15th in the Conference in mid-November I found a news report stating that the Senators (me) had fired head coach Dave Cameron, which I hadn't done, or even contemplated at all at this point. Yet now I have no head coach. I'm assume this is some sort of bug? Has anyone else experienced this?

**Edit** Also in my 2015-16 season I had 4 games in a row. Which isn't allowed under the current (or even the last) CBA.

There may be a possible issue with the game not bringing you back from vacation to respond to (non-required?) news items.

An example for this one: I was on vacation when the CHL Import Draft came up, and no opportunity was given to choose to attend the draft; it was completed automatically.

Me? LOL. Nah, I only use vacationing in the summer to move the summer along, after I've been eliminated from playoffs, and before the draft/prospects rights expiring, then free agency.

So I'm not quite sure what happened, but regardless it was probably for the best, I revamped my coaching personnel almost entirely after it happened.

rubbish...that one is still there. Used to make me nuts when I would replace my 2nd line RW for getting tossed from game, and then go back to the game from editing lines, and he did not even get a penalty. Even more nuts when I did not notice right away....and he missed a shift or two. Or when I had to go back and re edit the lines again.

I think there is an unemployment issue. I have started three times as unemployed, selected all available leagues and applied to all available teams. And I do not get a job. Even with the highest reputation, nothing. But I might have found the problem: I'm not named in the managers list, when clicking on 'general manager stats'.

Started a new game, with Can/USA nationality. Almost two seasons have past, not one single offer, with reputation HoF'er. Again I'm not listed on the list with available and/or hired managers.

Guys, been playing EHM 2005 for 10 years now till EHM:EA came out and I remember when I send to RIz a personal msg on SI forum as I just couldnt get the job outside Slovenia (as I set my nationality to Slovenian) even when winning 10 championships in a row. Riz then told me that the problem must be on language as by the game Slovenians only speak Slovenian and Croatian and Serbian....here it should be added as a must as well English as because of that teams on the west didnt hire me. I saw on EHM:EA that we still dont speak English so i guess if I would start unemployed would have the same problems (I solved those situations normaly as adding 2nd nationality American).

Riz if you could add that Slovenian and many western or central European countries speak English so that we can get hired

Me too. I supposedly fired Mike Babcock early into the second season. We were in 7th place at the time. I ended up replacing him with Peter Horachek. Not quite the same as Babcock.

I was at home screen. Everything was normal at that point.


Then I clicked to news and this happened.

Forget where I Saw this, think it was in this thread way back.

Suspension--screen shot of overturned suspension, followed by one of player still being suspended.

I had this happen (Sort of) in my game. Bellemare gets a match for crosschecking and is tossed. Immediately after game, he gets a suspension for 1 game. I appeal, not overturned...still has 1 game.

Two days later (before my next game) get a note that upon review he has been suspended for an additional game. I again appeal and this time I win the appeal. But the appeal is only for the EXTRA game, so he still has to sit out one.

Just a thought maybe that is what happened. 1st one is auto in EHM for the match.

Not sure that is the way it works in real life, and maybe should be looked into.

Funny that it was not as harsh as the Byfuglien suspension IRL, maybe the Bellemare crosscheck was to the ribs>

Is there something wrong with the schedule? Started my NHL career yesterday and ran into this schedule. Pretty hard to imagine, playing 4 games in 4 days (20th to 23rd) and another 4 in 4 (28th Nov. to 1st Dec.).
