I would assume they did not have the opening faceoff for the period and play into the zone to score without a second ticking off the clock. That would be a biiiiiiiiiig problem.

Or maybe the clock was running up, and lemming3k is showing he scored but it didn't count as time had expired?
If it was a goal from the opening faceoff without time running, then it's a bug that should be posted on the SI Forums and not really a "funny/weird/cool screenshot"

Yeah, I am hoping too that this was counting up and was end of period and just after the buzzer.

I have clock running down, but once the period ends it puts the next one up there. It was a last second goal (or apparently not) in the 3rd, 3rd game of the playoff finals too! Now the red circle might not be over the line but the puck sure looks over!

Good point nino. Also imagine if it was the other way around and that was in the net just on time and counted? Totally widdled.

Probably not on top as it was a rifled shot from 21, though I suppose it could be above the net as it's impossible to tell.

Perhaps the red is more accurate but I'd like to know how the puck can be so far ahead of it, and if it is above the net I need to drop that guy for missing that shot!

Perhaps I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say the ref bottled it and called time....

Does it matter? It lies all the time and says my guys win all their fights. But then the numbers do not tell me that. Play by play says puck was in the other end. LOL...oh wait, wrong game.

Lol, I'm not sure I can check now as it was last season. I'd guess 'Rifled shot' followed be 'end of period' or something similar.
Who knows, it might happen again, just managed an OT win with 1 second left!

Team rumble with both goalies! Commentary over 3 pages long, instigation went to Sabres players in the 3rd and 4th fight with 1 thrown out plus both goalies - and was it really necessary at 11-3? Hardly rivals or a close game.

It happened BECAUSE it was 11-3. The game has tempers boil over when this kind of scoreline comes into play a fair bit. My question is which one of the Sabres out there started it all off? Usually need a guy who is agressive with strong fighting tendencies on the ice to get the line brawl. I had one in a Canuck season I was playing, where I was up 6-0 on the Laffs. Forget which Laff went bananas.

Anyway...it does happen occasionally. ALways a fight at least in lopsided game and if the right tendencies are on the ice, and the right situations the line brawl can happen.

That could be a problem as there's really no need for my players to get involved and miss games!
The first fight started with Sam Reinhart and McDavid! 2nd Maroon and Lasse Peltonen, 3rd Komarov and Benn , 4th Methot and Kapanen - I can't see their fight tendencies but none of them particularly aggressive.

LOl...It is a very rare occurrence just like it is in real life. Maybe once per season or once every two seasons. LOL re Sam and Connor. Awesome. I would not be shocked if it was more likely Maroon attacking Peltonen that started it, and PxP was incorrect.

Maroon is aggressive.

Not really something to worry about, the suspensions however can be a bit harsh in the game. Not liking the ramping of instigator penalites leading to 10 game suspensions after what 12 instigators? Although that may be a rule now, not sure.

I'd be more worried if it had cost me anything, but luckily Allen is the backup since I picked Price up from free agency and the 'fill in' grey goalie sat on the bench for the next game.
Now if I'd had to play him for any reason I'd have been widdled....

Maroon is 56 aggression on my game btw. Peltonen has been in fights before though so could be those two started it.

Databasde guys toned down aggression across the board. High levels of aggression now are in the 10-15 range. Not surprised by that for Maroon at all. 11 is actually a fairly high number for aggression attribute in the game right now. And of course fighting tendency (hidden#) may be 20.

Aggressive guys were getting too high ratings in old EHM so it was played with alot. Plus guys do not fight as much as used to and the #s for PIM were not realistic for a bit, so tuned it down. It likely will not get changed, to anything higher....because well....guys like Derek Dorsett would be PIM through the roof. AI teams in 2007 used to regularly have guys with 250 PIM. Quite a few.
