Myers was supposed to be good. I wonder what happened to him!

Ernstrom only got a big contract because his first seasons were good but he's not amazing.

Seven defeats in a row now! Mtl had a nice trip in the west. Sixteen goals allowed against five goals scored.
Anaheim didn't had Getzlaf, Eaves, Vatanen, Lindholm and Fowler played two minutes before getting injured and thwy managed to lose. Moat people thought it was an easy win with most of Anaheim's best players out.

Did you guys see Luongo's injury last night? I hope he didn't break his hand.

I know something happened to him but did not see the sequence. Who's the backup there?

Well at least they have someone who can replace him.
I thought the Coyotes would be better with the players they added during the summer. Boy was I wrong!

Huh. Well what do you know, Ken Holland can make trades in-season.
Ryan Sproul to NYR in return for Matt Puempel.
Riley Sheahan to PIT in return for Scott Wilson.
Clearing cap space after singing RFA Athanasiou. Not overwhelmed with the returns (I personally would have refused taking any roster players back for either of them, picks and prospects only), but... also not really going to miss two players that were nothing but roster dead weight.

Vegas is playing over their heads. I can't believe they are 6-1!
Tampa is looking really good right now though. I hope Kucherov and Stamkos stays healthy. The both of them could have an amazing season.

Montreal has finally been able to play a full 60 minutes! It was a good game to watch. Their three goals in less than two minutes really cut the Panthers's legs.
Poor Phoenix lost again. At least Keller is looking good.
Avs won against Dallas but MacK and Rantanen seems to have had a bad game. -3 for Nathan and -2 for Rantanen.

Bergevin did a press conference this afternoon and seriously, with some of the answers he gave I'm seriously questionning his skills now.
First of all he said that if he had the chance, he would do the same moves he did to "improve" the team. Then he said that his job was to focus on the next game and not on what's going to happen in 6 months.
No wonder MTL is so bad at developing their prospects with that mentality.

Hahahaa... so no eyes are set on the future of the team.

That how I took it. He always seem to like to improvise at the last minute in his trades and it kinda confirms it.
Anyway those press conferences are always bs. A GM will not stand there and say "this was a mistake I take the blame" or "the fans are right when they say we have a bad futur ahead of us and we suck at drafting." It's never going to happen in MTL. They clearly need a new philosophy.
Like some people are saying. If they keep going in that direction MTL is slowly becoming the new Toronto Maple Leafs.

Seriously. Vegas doesn't have anything special. Gallant is doing a very good job with what he have or the NHL are cheating to make them win!

Watched 40 minutes of OTT vs MTL, it was fun to watch. In the meantime, Vegas lost another goalie, the situation is getting a bit weird in the desert !

They should've picked more goalies instead of all those defensemen!
It's most likely that they will buy out Shipachyov now. They really made him waste his time.

Shipa played only 3 games. He's a super great player. I wish they'd played him more. 1 assists.. but he was +3. It takes a lot more games to get used to the NA rink.

1 goal I think not an assist but yeah, it's a shame. Pretty bad management IMO.

Varlamov with 57 saves yesterday.

They got lucky to get away with that win.

Price has now a "lower body injury" and will miss one week to rest. Funny how this "injury" happens after another bad performance from him. Do they really think we believe that?!
