The only way i believe is to find the code you mislayed. I have mine on my E-mail from SI, you might do too. If not, re-purchase the game.

It may sound a bit naive but what will happen if you just replace the ehm2007.exe file on the laptop with the one from your desktop pc??

Then you would seem to be SOL.

One of the drawbacks to digital licensing is you have to be
very conscientious when it comes to order and registration info.

Wouldn't work as the registry entries for e-license wouldn't be transferred.

there is a section in your control panel that handles all your elicenses you have to open it up right click on ehm2007 click product receipt and it will give you your receipt with your product key, just enter that key when you try to license the laptop install, you are allowed two seperate installs.

I've bought the game twice to activate it on 4 PC's. One of the laptops was stolen, and now I would like to activate the game on my new laptop, but says I can't for obvioius reasons. anyone know how I can get this resolved, or am I in the market for a new version of the game?

Try contacting e-license. They have a form you can fill for customer support. Other than that, you might just be out of luck.

Good Luck with e-License support. I wrote them an e-mail a week for ever 7 months when I had a hard drive go wonky, and never even received a reply much less a resolution. I got lucky as I was eventually able to get the HD working enough to get it unlicensed.

You should use the official feedback form, not common email. I lost my lisence code a few months ago and they replied to me the very next day, and I was right back to playing EHM!

I meant the official feedback thingy. Just called it e-mail as that is what it equates to.

I see. Well I certainly got my reply quickly. And so did my brother.

Could someone please link me to the elicense claim form? I went to their web site but all I could find was the "add to cart" link for EHM and some other games. Can someone help me out?

When you move your old hard drive into the new computer, will it be the main drive that the computer is booting from or is it going to be a secondary drive? If it's the main one you boot from (the one with your operating system) you shouldn't have to do anything. If it's not, then you have to go into the control panel and go to the eLicense control. Unlicense that computer. Then when you get on the new computer install the software and license it again using your order info that you originally used to license the software.

This is sort of related, but anyway:
What does the EHM 07 CD look like? The one that came from ViaTech in Florida in the white 'hard' envelope? I can't find it, and I need something to go on in my search.

I don't think too many people were able to get their hands on a EHM 2007 CD. Wasn't the game almost exclusively released digitally except for a small number of discs released for promotional purposes in Europe or Scandanavia?

Hm. I'm starting to doubt that I got a CD. But what did I get? The 'hard' envelope has the perfect shape for a CD.
It's 6.2992126 inches times 5.98425197 inches.

I have no idea. Was there an option to buy a backup copy of the downloadable file? It was so long ago that I have trouble remembering. I remember some people really having a problem with not having something they could hold in their hand and I seem to recall the option of ordering a copy of the downloadable file on CD. Maybe I'm mis-remembering though.
I do remember that there were a very small number of official copies of the game on disc that were given out in Sweden or Finland (I'm pretty sure it was one of these) and some of those were then sold.
Unless you remember getting something special or out of the ordinary, you probably just got the digital download version like the rest of us. Also, I'm not sure who "ViaTech" is. I don't remember them having anything to do with the game. I found a ViaTech publishing but they didn't have a location in Florida. There is also a VIA Technologies that made some computer parts. I see drivers on the internet for sound cards and such. And there is a Viatech Industries in Florida that does electronic manufacturing solutions for medical, aerospace, and telcomm. So I'm not sure what your disc envelope is for.

You remember right, Bruins. I have such a backup cd. When I purchased the license there was this option to buy the backup cd (cost 10 Euros). It contains only a copy of the gamefile, and the order id.
The CDs that were sold in Finland and Sweden were boxed versions of the game, you would not need to online activate the license with those versions. But I don't know how many of them were sold.

Yeah, that's what I got. What does it look like? Because the download link at
eastsidehockeymanager.net doesn't seem to work for me. I just get:
"Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /opt/nhlehm/downloads.h on line 253
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /opt/nhlehm/downloads.h on line 546"
Btw, ViaTech is mentioned here:

Alright. I got my order ID back. Now, where do I find the demo?
