Tough one leafsnation, tough one... There's Dan Maloney and Jim Korn that fit the teams and era, but AFAIK they didn't look like this guy.

This is about 30 years ago, this guy earned a cool nickname at MTL and even though I never saw him play he is one ( of the few ) MTL players I like. Don't quote my message or you will see the answer.

If I recall correctly, it's Mario Tremblay who used to say because this guy was small that he was half of a player, and the second half would be shipped at a later time.

Haha! It's just that I've been a little boy collecting hockey cards in the same years as you, visibly I had many Waite cards and he had played his junior hockey in Chicoutimi, which is close to where I hail from. It was easy for me, but maybe not for everyone
