EHM The Blue Line

I downloaded it a while ago for my Mac and got some patch that allowed me to play the full version. A screen would come up at the start from which I had to hit cancel but accidentally hit OK activating the free trial. Something like that anyway. No way of getting some patch like that again?

Are you referring to the crack? As it's illegal, I'm afraid we can't offer any support here.

I'm not sure it was a crack to be honest, it was such a long time ago. If the game is no longer on sale anymore in any shape or form, is it really illegal to get a crack from somewhere in order to play it? Especially since I previously bought it for a now falling apart laptop and have since upgraded to a Mac?

Oh well, I'll keep my laptops hard drive around incase I ever get myself a new PC laptop!

I know, it was very odd, but it WORKED...of COURSE...I just got an email from eLicense and now they granted me three new licenses. So, i just spent 40.00USD on the game again and THEN they give me the licenses, LOL

I just bought a license for 29.99 Euro.
I downloaded try&by demo, then pressed "purchase" and i was allowed to pay by credit card.

Hm... Strange.

Not in any way is it a negative thing, but strange nonetheless!

I purchased a copy of 2005 recently on Amazon.
Before that I purchased 2007, and it is superior in many ways besides the online play I hear. Why exactly is 2007 not used for online? Has anyone ever tried it?

This is slightly off-topic, but it is because EHM 2007's online mode is regarded as fairly unstable. Also, it has a limit of approx 15 GMs whereas EHM 2005 allows 30 GMs.

what happens if I try to buy the game through try and buy version through the buy from desktop and I supply my credit card info? will they take my money and not give me any license?

EDIT: I just bought it through that method and it totally worked...

Yes, purchased without difficulty...
Of course i had to download the patch from here,etc.
But this is good news!
At least I have new licenses for the future whenever I ever get another new PC

Was wondering about a thing. As it is unclear about the game is for sale or not, is it in some way possible to make a back-up of the game so you can use it in another computer. I think my computer is taking his last breath soon . Will I not be able to play the game again then?

Yes, you will need to unlicense the game from your current computer. Then with your new computer, you install the Try'n'Buy demo and enter your serial code. You have three licenses which means it can be installed simultaneously on three computers.

I managed to buy it too. My hard-drive was destroyed in my previous computer, and one of the few things I really missed was EHM2007. I'm so glad I was still able to buy it again!
It was a struggle to get it work with my new WIndows 7 computer, but it's all ok now. Weird thing was that it didn't work with Anti-virus/Firewall program running, but it used to be fine with same program in my previous computer (I just had Windows Vista in that one...)
Anyway, my credit card payment was accepted when I just manually wrote my cards expiring year "2013".

How did you manage this? I tried to purchase with a credit card a month ago the exact same method you used with no Anti-virus/ Firewall running but it would not work

Give it another try. It sounds like it has only been very recently working again.

I recommend trying to hound SI games until they release EHM07 as freeware. Another forum I belong to did it with CM01/02 and they got it free. Give it a shot. might work.

What happened when you clicked on the Purchase button? I thought the button had effectively been disabled.

IIRC eLicense accepts Visa.

Honestly can not remember which type I used but I know it would not work no matter what.

It is most likely because they shut down sales. It sounds like the game is up for sale again. It might be worth taking another look.
