No, it doesn't. It's 4-year contract for 16 milion total. So 4m per year. Looks better for the Flames, doesn't it?

They've changed it since. Originally, TSN had it listed on their UFA tracker as $16M/2 Years at $8M per. They've since corrected it.

Erik Johnson and Bryce Salvador have resigned with their current teams. Salvador signed 3-year-contract and Johnson stays next 4 years in Colorado.

What a shocking surprise. Never thought the Wild was in the race for them. My friend made me a joke Sunday that they both have signed with that team and I was laughing so hard because I thought it was impossible.....................

What a surprise. However, respect to Wild that will be black horse next season.

That is awesome that they went there together!
I really didn't think that the Wild would even be in the running...
(I can't wait to play the Wild with the new Manimal rosters !)

Cool that they decided to go to Minny. That team is also stocked with some great prospects.
Big losses for the Devils and Preds, though. I doubt Weber wants to sign long-term in Nashville

That's a bummer. Wasn't Raycroft, a while ago, supposed to be the next big thing?

Minnesota suddenly looks like a very strong team! I guess we won't be using them in a challenge any time soon.

Well if Heatley wakes up, that could make a good duo. With Backstrom in the net they got some good players but for the rest of the team? Not that strong to me.

Minnesota has just passed Vancouver as my favorite to win the Noeth West division. If Mikko stays healthy, it will not matter how Heatley plays. He can be absolutely horrible and with Parise, Koivu he will still score 40. This team is real solid now. As long as they stay healthy.
And the kids they have coming up...they are going to win.
Minnesota vs Edmonton in 2- 3 years will be amazing games to watch

Charlie Coyle was ridiculously dominant with Saint John in the half-year he was there (38 PTS in 23 GM, plus 34 PTS in 17 playoff games). I don't see him needing to spend time in the 'A' this year, he'll slot in the top 6 somehow in Minny.

Niklas Hagman goes to the KHL with the Lokomotiv. I don't know for the players but playing for this team now would give me the creep.

Peter Mueller with Florida for 1.7 millions. That could be one of the best deal of the season if he is healthy.

I think we can all forget the 12-13 NHL season. The NHL ask wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much ( IMO there is some nice idea in it ) but the players will never accept that.
