Makes perfect sense as Medvescak has had financial problems and will now have much shorter travels
Shame I was hoping to go and see a KHL game there next year.
You still have Bratislava or Helsinki, shouldn't be much different

Helsinki is pretty expensive to fly to from the UK (particularly from the North, from London there are cheaper flights) but Bratislava is pretty cheap and easy to get to

Bratislava is a good shout forgot about them what about Riga is that cheap enough to get to?
Although London might have a franchise in the next few years so who knows I could just go there

Riga is also relatively cheap from Manchester airport as Ryanair flys direct. It's probably about the same price to get down to London as it is to fly to Riga!

Yeah, KHL has become even more ridiculous recently. SKA is close to having an all-star lineup. And as if that was not enough, they seem to be favoured by the referees due to their owners being influential in KHL and Russian Ice Hockey Federation boardrooms.

TPS hasn't lost a single game in Liiga in regular time this season (3 overtime losses only. 2nd in the league). Weird that they're last in the group in CHL.
I have a feeling teams underestimate a British team. (But isn't like half of the team Canadian?)
It's good for hockey anyway.

Espoo United is about to go bankrupt, just a few years after its founding upon Espoo Blues.

One of the best hockey players from Germany leaves the ice. Christian Ehrhoff ends his career.
In addition, Tyler Haskins has to end his career. Too many concussions. Further professional sport would be too dangerous. Good luck

Year two of no "Daily KHL Update" on YouTube, at least here in Canada...does the program still exist?
I sure miss it

Well first the NHL has postponed its season and now the EIHL has cancelled all remaining games.
