philou21 wrote:So Halak going to have a second straight start tonight. I really think Gainey wants to show him to everybody to trade him, Price was doing a fine job since 2-3 weeks and Halak has start 3 of the last 5 or 6 games. So maybe a trade soon, or maybe Price is hiding an injury.

Halak had a huge game against the Islanders. I'd start him over Price after a 40 save shutout. Price is another overated Goalie anyways.
Jeez, i am in a bitchy mood tonight. I look forward to hockey training later on tonight.

Yep he was doing good last couples of weeks. This was just a good gift to the Devils.

If you base your opinion with only one goal, that just mean anything. But maybe this garbage goal is the fact he didn't start the last two game.

I believe the NHL changed to white road jerseys so the teams could use their colored third jerseys at home and the visiting teams did not have to pack both jerseys

I guess that makes sense but I still like the old way better.

I prefer the old way too. White at home, dark away. The third jersey is often useless i think, the shirt is ugly most of the time.

That is just one goal yes...but man look at B72's team in the pool and ask him...dude Price is not playing very well. Better than the horrendous start yes, but not really well at all.

Brodeur is the man. I'm glad it happened before the Olympics so that the shutout monkey is off his back.

The record is a pretty important one, but i'm not amaze at all by this, or all the others records that Brodeur have, for me having all of this playing for a team that always favors defense and poor play, the trap, he have a hell of help from this, i will be curious just to see if he got the team that Roy got, like the early 90's Habs, what kind of stats he would have. For me Roy is the best.

I watch about 5 non-Bruins games per week, and have watched all but 3 Bruins games this season...and I can honestly say...Dennis Wideman has been by far the worst player of the season...for all teams. Yes that includes the likes of Redden, Toskala or Komisucki. How he has a spot ahead of Boychuk and McQuaid when everyone's healthy is beyond me. I was so annoyed with him last night again. Can you please not trip over your own effin feet for 5 minutes please ? Could you please not give the puck to those guys wearing other jerseys than you do ? Can the league suspend him ? He just keeps headhunting...with his shots. Did he get just one one-timer on net this season ?
RANT OVER...FOR NOW

Yeah, I could totally see Wideman (or Ference) included in a deadline deal if they go after a scorer.
Boychuk really has been a pleasant surprise. He's doing everything he can to make a case for staying in the lineup when the injured guys come back. McQuaid is pretty good. I can see him filling a Mark Stuart type role eventually.

I loved that hit. It was totally clean too.

That Boychuk hit was tremendous. Get your head up Stajan. And nice way to show the world how much you love Stajan with that pass KAberle. You looking to get him killed?
BTW---I am not prejudiced against the Leafs. Yeah...okay...wanna but a bridge?

Kaberle is a great set up man after all

Heh. Well he does lead or is second among points for defensemen.
And BTW--Since when is Wiedman Brent Sopel or Jordan Hendry. SOrry but those two are 1-2 in worst dmen in NHL. Wiedman could fall down EVERY SINGLE SHIFT AND shoot the puck into his net every shift and he would still be better than those two bums. Hendry sucks so bad he is a horrible winger...the easiest job in the NHL>

And Wideman is un-droppable in the Fantasy league, as well. Anyone wanna trade!

We've all mishandled the puck. Never as unluckily as this. Poor Ivan, he looks distraught.

Heh. Poor rook,
Scott Hartnell--3 points last 14 games, none in last 8
Jeff Carter-4 points in last 14 games, 2 in last 7
Richards keeps on ticking.(yeah sure)..7 pts in 14, 3 in last 8
Gee I wonder what could be the problem in Philly?
