EHM The Blue Line

I've always been bothered by the small-sized team logo that appears on news items. It doesn't look right (mostly because of the size). I was thinking of maybe doing some large sized logos or perhaps some action shots (because for teams outside of the NHL, you cannot really get any 3D-style jersey images). But then I thought it might be neat to have a map appear to show where the team is located. When it comes to teams outside of the NHL and UK, I have very little idea of where teams are located.

So I've tried experimenting with a Google map image for each team (see below). What do you think? Good or bad idea? If there's interest then I'd consider making a pack for some of the main leagues (and of course I can post a mini guide - it's very simple to create the images):
