After an argument with assistant coaches in practice Sean Avery has not joined LA on the road for this trip and will not return this year. Playoffs aren't an issue as LA was eliminated from playoff contention tonight.

Avery is a UFA after this year, so it doesn't look like they'll be offering him a new contract eh?

Yeah, in Anaheim on Friday and not like in the tunnel or anything it was right in front of all the reporters and everything.

I know of many a person more obnoxious than Avery but still I really do wonder if the guy has serious impulse control issues. Boy ain't wired right

I used to be quite a fan of Avery's, but this has gone overboard now. The guy's a punk.

Yeah, he got into it with Brian Hayward. Hayward used to be a goalie back in the day.
