EHM The Blue Line

whoops. my bad.

So I installed a few mods and now EHM 2007 won't open anymore. These are the mods installed: http://i.imgur.com/jPl4J.png
Anybody know why this would be happening or how to fix it? I know there's a technical support section but it seems like people barely visit that section and there's a lot more action here. Also, my problem has to do with the mods. So... Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Nope. No clue. ANd the tech section gets posts. And the people who know what they are doing respond there as quickly as they can. I could not tell you why it does not work.....and neither could 90% of us. Really....archi is the dude and he is the guy you wait for...either here or in the tech section. Betcha $10 that archi moves this...or manimal or B72.

Oh and the only reason they won't move it? Because its me betting they will.

Sounds like you're trying to do too much at once. Uninstall the game and install each addon one-by-one (and each time, test the game to see if it loads).

My guess is that you've installed a DB incorrectly (EHM is very picky about this). If you get any further difficulties, please try to post more info - and please use this thread...

Yeah I was being impatient... my bad. It just seemed like no one went to the technical support section... there were 57 topics where as all other sections were like 500+... anyway, yeah, that was dumb. sorry.

So the wheel on my mouse that you use to scroll up and down pages does not work in EHM. It works everywhere else, so it's not the button itself. But when I use it in EHM I'll scroll up and it'll go all the way down and click a random button. Any idea on how to fix this?

It was working fine with just those mods. And then once I installed the 3.0.4 patch the game stopped working. Now it won't even open. Should I have applied the patch before I installed the mods... Or is it a different problem? From what I've read this patch is really good, so it'd suck to have to play without it. How do I fix this?

The mouse wheel doesn't work in EHM as far as I remember.

As for getting EHM to load, follow these steps:

1) Uninstall the game and delete you EHM 2007 folder.

2) Download this (it contains the demo and the final patch): http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =82&t=9526

3) Install the demo

4) Install the patch

5) Try starting the game. Does it work? Assuming it does, exit the game and continue with the instructions below.

6) Go to your EHM 2007 folder (it is usually something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Sports Interactive\NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007). Go to your \data\database\ folder in the EHM 2007 folder. Delete everything in that folder. Within your \data\database\ folder create a new folder called something like "Manimal v5 - 2006 Adjusted". Extract the Manimal Rosters from your zip file into your newly created folder. Note that the files should be placed directly into that folder and there shouldn't be any subfolders within it.

7) Try starting the game. Does it work? Assuming it does, exit the game and continue with the instructions below.

8) Install your graphics/logos that you have downloaded.

If EHM 2007 is still not working: Are you using the crack?

I'm sorry. I'm very new to this forum, and have never been very involved in any forums. But I plan on being active and involved in this one. So yeah, sorry, I was not used to using the same thread, cause usually in the other forums, my threads would've just gotten buried. But thanks for the advice. I'll definitely start doing that. And also thanks for being nice about it, haha. And as for your helping me fix the game. I just woke up, so I just wanted to get my apology out. When I go to download the demo from the ehmblueline skydrive it asks me to log in to my microsoft account... It's never done that before...
