Hi everyones,
I would like to know how can I read and modify the database files (.dat) in order to update my NHL EHM 05.
I already download the Pre-game editorfrom the UK ehm fan club but I am not atified by it.
I already started to update all the players faces in the game and I would like to do it for all the database.
Of course all my work will be available for all when finished.
Can anybody help me on this matter ?
Thanks in advance.

The only editor available for EHM is the Eastside UK Editor. What didn't you like about the editor?
On another note: There's no need to post multiple copies of your questions accross several of our forums. Just post your question once and we'll do our best to help you out.

Sorry for the multiple copies of question, it was to be sure to obtain an answer quicker.
Anyway, concerning the editor, things like two way clauses, player or team option, injury, ... are not available. I would like to know if another editor exists or if I have to use one to modify the databse. How can I create one ?

I'm afraid the Eastside UK Editor is the only one available. If you're interested in making your own then I suggest you look at the
SI Games' Editor Forum. I take it you know a programming language? Do you think you'll be able to write one before EHM 2007 comes out around about October???

Clauses and options are generated automatically by the game and are not database related

So why do all players who have NTC's IRL have it in the game?

And players who don't have NTC's IRL don't have it in the game?

It's because the game models well who should have a no trade clause

Based on games played for the particular club? Why doesn't Scott Stevens get an NTC if I put him on the Devils?

Trust me...i am an Head Researcher and in our fields there are no clauses...maybe they are communicated but so they are hardcoded, so still not db related
