NHL Entry Draft Lottery

St. Louis will have the first pick in this years entry draft. Once again my Hawks, who have never had the #1 overall pick will select third
last we picked third we selected Cam Barker, and here is a consensus about the top four picks as quality goes so we should get another excellent player at #3 but it's still disappointing to only move up to 3rd in the lottery.

2. Pittsburgh Penguins
3. Chicago Blackhawks
4. Washington Capitals
5. Boston Bruins
6. Columbus Blue Jackets
7. New York Islanders
8. Phoenix Coyotes
9. Minnesota Wild
10. Florida Panthers
11. Los Angeles Kings
12. Atlanta Thrashers
13. Toronto Maple Leafs
14. Vancouver Canucks

I'm gonna make an early prediction of the top-10 picks.
1. STL - Kessel
2. PIT - Johnson
3. CHI - Staal
4. WSH - Toews
5. BOS - Mueller
6. CBJ - Brassard
7. NYI - Sanguinetti
8. PHX - Frolik
9. MIN - Bäckström
10. FLA - Williams
Frolik will be taken by LA.

Sure, how about brother for brother? Straight up?
Ummm, Systemfel? You have Frolik 8th to Phoenix but then say Frolik will be taken by LA... I've yet to see anyone place him outside the top 5.

I would love to see Pittsburgh pick up Johnson IMO he is going to be the best player in the draft.

Its funny that in my EHM game, Kessel goes to STL as #1 and my pens got Johnson in second round! and I believe that's really likely where those two players will end up in the real world. Love the accuracy!
p.s. It's understandable that Johnson isnt highly touted in EHM than in real life. He soar up the ranking in a year. But I was thinking wouldnt it be great if the developers could made an update ever so often that could include the latest attribute of all NHL players, minor leaguers, and NCAA prospects? and they could raise the price of the game for compensation. I hope minstrel wont jump on me again as this is only an idea....

They do; it will be with the next version once all the researchers report back; but yeah re-evaluating a couple thousand players every month is I'm sure in the planning stage
