Minstrel, this might hurt you. In an interview after the bronze game in World Championships Tuomo Ruutu said that this is propably the last hockey game for him for now. Though he didn't get any points during the tournament, he still played many good games. Too bad, i really hope ruutu can and will continue his career, he is one of the most talented finnish players and surely will be a key player for blackhawks in the future, provided that he continues.

				Sad.

I love his playing style. Skilled, incredibly feisty and physical.
Maybe he'll do a 'Forsberg' and take a sabbatical to come back huge in 2007?

They were wondering if he'd even return this year and then when he did he had an absolutely horrific freak injury after being back just a few games

He got a skate caught in the net and someone basically skated over his calf and sliced it open to the bone, right through the tendon

  *shudder*
While it's his back that's been the big problem he has very bad knees as well; he's said to have had a "botched" knee surgery I believe it was a year or so before he was brought to Chicago. So unfortunately the Forsberg comparisons are apt. Both have huge natural talent and can be physically dominant when healthy; but it's always that "when healthy" that gets them.
