I just got this when clicking on link in my favourites to the TBL forums:
'Could not query forums information

It'll be our hosts doing maintenance to the server. It's nothing to worry about

I've been getting a similar DEBUG error recently no matter if it's a private message or forum post that says 'Line 236 emailer.php'. The error appears to be telling you your post isn't goign to go through, but actually it does... so umm

Umm.. "getting it to" what?

And I have to also add that all of a sudden things have snapped back to working fine and loading fast so maybe it was a server issue... hellifiknow I'm the graphics guy not the coder guy. I can't do it all... where would I put it?

I've posted to Admin and messaged him but with the time diff between NA and those British Boys they're prolly sleepin.

As Mr. Minty rightly pointed out, there is a great time difference between NA and the UK. Plus, I'm working 9 til 5 most days to try and pay off some of my huge bank overdraft. Please keep in mind this is only a hobby and so I'm not going to be able to address site issues as soon as they arise.
Back to the issue in hand: It must have been something our site hosts have done (most probably with the e-mailing function (aka
sendmail()) of the server). I've contacted Octavian and hopefully he shall contact our hosts fairly soon (Octavian is TBL's point of contact with our very kind hosts). This could be a temporary hitch or it could be permanent. If it is permanent, I have two workarounds - one will fully restore our e-mailing capability (this depends on the availability of a certain server function) and the other (a last resort) will remove the error but will also remove our e-mailing capability.
I'll keep you posted about the situation. It may take a few days to resolve. Please bear with me

Update: I haven't got the error posting the last few days, but I get it when sending out PM's.

Was it you, Tom, who had trouble logging into the Forums or the Main Site? If so, which one was it?
You will get the error when sending PM's because our e-mail function isn't working at the moment. When you send a PM the server sends a notification e-mail to the recipient; it can't do this at the moment. PM's will still be succesfully sent despite the error but the recipient will not receive a notification e-mail.

I don't think I've ever signed into the main page, and I've never had any problem signing into forums. Also, check your PMs.
