EHM The Blue Line

So I am playing with the TBL Rosters v6.1 non-patch rosters. I'm in the year 2034 and the game keeps crashing around July 3rd. If I skip the date and go on vacation, the game will get past the date and will not crash. However, it crashes when I go to check the messages that i've missed. I get a little box popup that says "EHM 2007 has crashed, windows is looking to resolve this problem" then i press ok and the game closes. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem with my install or something in the saved file? Thanks in advance!

Have you made any changes to the database?

Given that you're 28 years into you game, sadly it sounds like there is some sort of corruption with your game. Normally, if it's an issue with the DB or any sort of patch (e.g. CSD Patch) then the problems will occur in the first year or two.

I didnt make any changes to the database. I didnt know if it was a name or some other issue with a message that was causing the crash. I guess I will just restart. Thanks for the response, I appreciate the help. Have a good one.

I'm looking for some help since after playing for years I now can't start a new game in EHM 07.

I'm not sure how related it is but since i just downloaded CSD 1.5 my ehm crashes all the time when loading new game right when the loading bar is about to fill on *loading database*. I get *an unhandled win32 exception occurred in ehm2007.exe [4728]* *Unhandled exception at 0x009E99CF in ehm2007.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x42445561.*

I tried using older CSD version , still the same result. I can load any save no problem though!??! I tried loading several different DB I have to no avail.

i just noticed the CSD gets an error too:

PS. I also extracted [Mug][2013-14][NA][NHL] Megapack to the game/db/db/pictures/players folder...

Does the game crash if you don't use the CSD Patch?

yeah it did but obviously it was something I've done since it's now firing on all cylinders. I reinstalled and extracted the DBs and other addons I have, I must've overwrited/deleted something because after the fresh install everything is fine. The fact that it was loading old saves was curious and led me to believe i've messed up somewhere It's all good now.
