EHM The Blue Line

Well, without making excuses or saying non-relevant information let me dive into my problem, I am playing the latest rosters updates and I am the Vancouver Canucks, I cannot seem to make the playoffs no matter what I do or what I get however, this is mainly a question to the veteren players to try to help me because jumping ahead, I have played 5 seasons and finally got fired after not making the playoffs once
So, my lineup [mainly the good guys just to get the idea] I have Kovalchuck, Jordan Eberle, Conner Mcdavid, Jack eichel, Martin St.Louis, Daniel Sedin, Milan Lucic, and Nicholas Jensen Backstrom [goalie from minnesota not Caps] for Defense I have Josh Gorges, Dan Hamius, Tyson Barrie, and Dennis Widemen, I personally thought this was a good enough Lineup but after missing the post-season 5 times in a row [3 of the times with this roster] and getting fired by my managment, I turn to you guys, am I doing something wrong? I used John Tortorella as a coach and have him do my strategies for me
So please, the Blue Line community, ask any questions you need do anything, but I just need help =c Thanks in advance for anyone!

EDIT:: For the last 2 season I had Thomas Vanik replaced with St.Louis and had Lucic replaced with Peter Mueller, still no cigar.

Well sounds to me that there's something seriously wrong with your team. You have Stanley Cup material and a pretty good coach.

How's your training?! Ever thought about coaching and making your own tactics?

I agree with CJ, Training might be an issue, and taking care of Tactics might help you get more from your talent as well

Alright Thanks guys, I will try making some of my own tactics and doing practices myself, ill play a season and look at the guides then let you know! Thanks

Wow, I never realized how much of a difference that could make doing manually on all of that, it kind of is a shame you are forced to do that to have a quality team, but my 2nd place in the league team isn't complaining =) Thanks everyone!
