EHM 2007 v3.0.4 league cpp 7024 error

hello been playing this game for a long while and happy to see this board as active as it is...
I have been playing EHM 2007 on Windows 7 with no issues...patched to 3.0.4...I am now in season 2017 and getting an error that will not allow me to load the game...it says v3.0.4 league cpp 7024...any ideas on this? thanks!

I've heard of league.cpp 7024 and 7740 errors cropping up in saved games before. Unfortunately I've never seen any solution. Somehow the game gets corrupted.
Out of curiosity, did you use the CSD Patch or make any changes to your database (or use the Saved Game Editor)?

no modifications other than the patches...was working fine until this error...

Sometimes it happens, that why I save manually every weeks (in-game).
I think it's related to "Save compressed" in preferences. I deactivated it and got less errors.
