Original EHM 2007 missing files - why?

I have a CD for EHM 2007 (which I bought from SI many years ago), which I haven't touched in years.
Today I tried to re-install EHM 2007 and all my PC could find on the Cd was the file sigames.qdd.
I don't know what happened to the other files on the CD.

Has anyone else run into this situation?

How was this resolved?

Are the files somehow hidden even though I have hidden files set to be shown?

Or is it possible for files to be deleted from this CD?
- would have thought the files and this SI EHM 2007 CD would be read-only and non-deletable but maybe not.

Thank you.

I've moved your post to the appropriate forum.

Sounds unlikely that you could remove files from your EHM cd, even by accident, because AFAIK those are non-rewritable. Except maybe if it has been damaged and the cd drive can't find the files anymore for that reason?

Did you try running the autorun?

Sure sounds strange... :-k

Perhaps try cloning the CD as an ISO file on to your hard drive. There are free tools (or even a trial version of WinZip) that can view ISO files. Perhaps the ISO will be a "better" copy of the CD.

Well, unfortunately sounds to me like the disk has just gone bad. Those things won't last forever.

Where have you had the disk stored?

If you still have your code, I'm sure it would work with the download version.

There were no code if you bought the cd-version
