1) Where do you think your team will finish this season?
1st in the Southeast and 2nd overall in the East
2) What area does your team need to improve upon?
A true shutdown forward. All my checkers are also my best offensive players and they don't have staminas of 20 to play the whole game.
3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise?
Clarke Vermette is my only rookie that'll get significant playing time this year. I was shocked he dropped to 20th overall when I traded up for him. I'm expecting 45 pts from him as my Joe Harris replacement.
4) Which player will have a breakthrough year?
Janis Adamovics. Hard to have a breakout year for a guy who scored almost a PPG last year, but I'm expecting him to lead the league in dman points this year.
5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?
Obviously we all want McKay, but that's unreasonable for most of us so I'll go with Jan Sykora from the Coyotes.

1) Where do you think your team will finish this season?

Unless we have a complete meltdown or a horrible string of injuries, a top 4 finish is expected. If I can beat the Flyers in our head to head matchups I might be able to squeak out another division title.

2) What area does your team need to improve upon?

At this point, defense. We traded Marsh to bring in Alphonso, and I ended up trading Hansson because he was unhappy with me.

3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise?

I am not playing any rookies this season, but I'm hoping that Bo Lindberg takes the next step in his development.

4) Which player will have a breakthrough year?

It's probably going to be a tie between Castognuay and Alphonso.

5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?

Easy - Linus Ogren

Kenny Lundbohm
5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?
Daniel Fabian

1) Where do you think your team will finish this season?
I'm (and the Board is too) expecting us to make the PO's. I'd be quite happy with being 7th in West after the regular season.

2) What area does your team need to improve upon?
Hawks really would need a true 1st line center. I suppose everyone in the league knows that already...

3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise?
LW Mattias Norberg

4) Which player will have a breakthrough year?
I dunno. Wesley Mason perhaps?

5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?
Paul St. Pierre

1) Where do you think your team will finish this season?
1st or 2nd in my division.
2) What area does your team need to improve upon?
Consistency
3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise?
Have none dressed in my planned opening day roster, so it'll depend on injuries. Vlcek could come up and be fantastic if given the opportunity.
4) Which player will have a breakthrough year?
Aaron Pandolfo. For me to get far he'll need to be challenging for a Norris.
5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?
1st line RW

1) Where do you think your team will finish this season? Given the step backwards, most likely somewhere in the range of 22-30.
2) What area does your team need to improve upon? The forward group needs to get some experience and do some growing.
3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise? Esa Salomaa is the only rookie, but with his skillset should be very solid.
4) Which player will have a breakthrough year? Gary Stacey should exceed his point totals from last year playing exclusively on the first line. Failing that, Zane Turgeon looks posed to take a step forward.
5) If you were to add a player, who would it be? JP Freeman, in unretired mode? A young first line forward along the lines of Robin Spencer.

The Habs will look to continue their strong play and battle for the top 5 spots in the conference.

1) Where do you think your team will finish this season?

If we can outplay the leafs then we will finish 3rd in the conference

2) What area does your team need to improve upon?

Our team is pretty much solid in every position so it will be up to the players to decide how they will perform since there are kids in the AHL that would like come time with the big boys also

3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise?

This year we will be featuring diminutive winger Franco Sarda. If he can produce in the first 10 games then he will stick with the team. Otherwise there won't be any other rookies in the lineup.

4) Which player will have a breakthrough year?

Ideally, we would like to see Lehtonen breakout of his production slump. He has all the tools to do well but has not put it together yet.

5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?

I would probably like to add a MacKay to my team if he's available.

1) Where do you think your team will finish this season?

2nd in the West behind Edmonton

2) What area does your team need to improve upon?

I'd like to add a 2nd line RW

3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise?

Only rookie on the team is LW/RW Pavel Martinov and I have him slated for a 3rd line checking role. I'm also going to experiment with a few other young players in the lineup that are currently down in the AHL in Fransson and Machacek but neither are rookies.

4) Which player will have a breakthrough year?

I think LW Rick Morin is poised for a breakout year after simmering in the AHL for a bit. If he falters though opportunity will be given to Fransson, Machacek, and Pracey.

5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?

I've made countless offers for Carolina's Robert Marek and would love to add him to my 2nd line!

1) Where do you think your team will finish this season?
Detroit will be in the running for the #1 pick this season
2) What area does your team need to improve upon?
Choice D, all of the above :D
3) Which rookie do you think will really surprise?
Guy LeBlanc is the only rookie I expect to stay on the roster all year, sooo I guess it's him.
4) Which player will have a breakthrough year?
I'm gonna go with Michal samulesson on this one. Hasn't been too good for the wings before, but he had quite the unexpected att boosts (some atts +3 over the summer, at age 30 :O) so I'm gonna go with samulesson on this one.
5) If you were to add a player, who would it be?
I need a goalie prospect to head my rebuild. Dylan Locke?
