EHM The Blue Line

I just loaded up a save game and, without my doing, Ian Laperriere, Antti Laaksonen, and Jannik Hansen were all loaned out to other teams. I had no way to stop it and no way to recall them from their loans. How did this happen and can it be fixed with the Save Game Editor?

I traded Tommi Santala and Taylor Pyatt for Ian Laperriere and Antti Laaksonen. Now the Colorado players I acquired were loaned back to them and are still on my tactics screen. I can't put them in my lineup, but I can put them on waivers, even though their player screen says "Avalanche". The two players I traded are somehow back on my lineup screen, but I can't play with them because the game asks me to give them jersey numbers and the game won't let me. The game also won't let me progress because it keeps saying Laperriere and Laaksonen are loaned to other teams.
