First of, I looked around and used search but all I could find was pre-game editing info and how-to's.

What I need is a way to edit a players salary in a save

In my current save I had one of the best players in the world go from $9,837M salary to $50k salary which kinda breaks the game

That's the 50k bug, where a salary accepted at 10 mil will drop to 50k for some reason.

I can't recall for sure, since it's been a while since I used the Saved Game Editor, but I don't believe you can edit salaries mid-game. The best thing you can do is not offer 10 million. If the AI does it... well... Not much you can do about it.

Yeah it was an AI team and I just wanted to change his salary back to the old one he had instead of the best winger in the world having a two year deal at 50k
