EHM The Blue Line

With the new game coming out, what is the first game you will play?

I'm thinking of starting with the Canadiens or a team from the west to spice it up. Can't wait!

I know I'll be playing the challenge. I think that will be an interesting way to experience the changes to the game. I'll have other users' experiences with the same team to compare against my own.

I'm torn. Not sure if I want to go straight to the NHL and the Flyers, or go with the usual "career" game and start unemployed. Out of excitement, I'll probably end up with both

With KHL in the game natural choice will be Medvescak Zagreb Although I could try to repeat my EHM 2007 Montreal dynasty where I won 14 cups and 18 president's

I'm probably going for Espoo Blues in Finland, because I didn't feel FHM was suited for smaller leagues. It seemed made primarily for an NHL based game. And as for EHM 07, the league has changed so much it felt very dated. So I'm going to play with my Blues with all the updated rules and teams, and so on.

Toronto Maple Leafs...no better time to rebuild them than now.
Off topic but is anyone having issues "Going on Vacation" ? It's not working for me so that's crippling at the moment.

EDIT: Created a new game and it fixed the vacation issue.

I was able to get Martin St-Louis for really cheap...

I will jump straight into the challenge with Flyers, im pumped...

Without any doubt, Minnesota Wild! I'm so excited and pumped right now. Been waiting for this moment for six-seven years.

It's taking me a little while to get used to the attributes being laid out in opposite order than it used to. Other than that, I'm digging the new look. Started up my Flyers challenge game. Of course, i was tempted to start up a Bruins game and get them out of their current hole.

Are there any logos posted somewhere that I can download?

Not sure who to be, never been a huge fan of the NHL to play in, but without any UK leagues or really small teams I'm not sure where to start. Maybe one of the Junior teams in Canada?

In terms of smaller teams, I think you're looking at Canada, Mestis or Allsvenskan.

I'm with you on the lack of UK leagues. I'd love to coach an NIHL-1 team such as Invicta. But I'd be happy to at least see the EIHL and EPL back. More leagues will be added during Early Access and so I'm hopeful we'll see their return.

I've had the game for over an hour now and I haven't progressed one day yet. I'm too busy looking at everything and setting up my tactics and such.

I'm never going to manage Invicta But, if we can manage at that level, Streatham is the only team for me.

My main EHM07 save was a fictional team I added to the EIHL, I'd certainly be happy to go for that again.

I'm enjoying a couple of hours of play while at work. I won't have time for it after work. I've got a "guys night out" (a bunch of us married guys go out for beers and fatty foods, organized by our wives) tonight that's been in the works for a while and we don't do that nearly enough. I've got another hour and a half to play at work and then I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

EDIT: Created a new game and it fixed the vacation issue.

I had the vacation issue, but saving the game, exiting EHM, reopening and reloading the game did the trick, didn't need to create a new game.

First effort will be with Detroit... bringing home the Cup!

Man its really hard to do anything

Ive spent so many years doing the same thing its really jarring to really THINK about how I need to do it

Well there's no MK Lightning... So will have to be a Rangers game once I get time this weekend.

I'll echo the demand for UK Leagues. Would be great to have the Elite and Premier Leagues, though I can imagine Riz will have more of a job updating them owing to the format changing so much since the last version of the game, with the Elite having the conference system and the way the Cup tables take the scores from the first two league games.

Would love to manage lower-down the English leagues though; NIHL-1 and below. Oxford City Stars and MK Thunder?

Can we get the French league too? I was researching some of the UK Imports in a previous game and one of Lightning's came from 'Bison Neulle San-Mar', What a name for a Hockey Club!
