Is the new roster update for 2007 available for MAC? Kind of upset EHM:EA isn't.

I'll be uploading an EHM 2007 format database as soon as things have quietened down (today / tomorrow). However, I do not think we will be officially supporting EHM 2007 any more because it's enough work maintaining one roster. So although it'll be available in EHM 2007 format, you will find that things like scoring are unrealistically high again (EHM:EA resolves the issue with the scoring level, allowing us to use the full range of attributes again).

Will EHM:EA be available for MAC?

Not for now.

Whilst the news of another version of EHM is great, I can't help to feel disappointed as well. I have waited months to get a new roster update with the scoring problem being handled. As I understand it was planned to be released this week before the big news broke. So there actually isn't a reason why you can't release it.

I have never used Steam to purchase and play games, so I'm worried I can't enjoy the EHM series anymore.

That's not quite right. Manimal and I have known of the release of EHM:EA for quite some time now and so we used our opportunity to test the game in order to create the new the DB. It's simply that we couldn't say until today that there was a new game.

The DB will however be released in EHM 2007 format tomorrow in any event. And there is the Realism Patch you can use to reduce the scoring back down. Ultimately, we only have limited resources and so we are unable to support the old game as well as the new game (we all do this in our spare time and in between our real jobs). The new game addresses/tweaks many of the issues, such as scoring levels, which have affected EHM 2007 in the past and so we have to change the way we deal with attributes in the DB. But like I say, you can use the Realism Patch to tweak things back down for EHM 2007.
