I don't think this is a DB-related crash. It'll be a game-related crash.

I can view his profile without a problem. Can you explain your steps to re-produce the crash?

I just created a new GM for the Minnesota Wild and after that I pressed "View team rapport" and then I pressed Alex Tuch.

Notes:
Tried searching with the same results.
I can't even access the USA U-18 in USHL

I was curious and searched for Tuch aswell and my game also crashed when i pressed his name...

I'm unable to reproduce it. I'm flagging this with Riz.

The selection boxes in the trade windows are misaligned... (You can see next to Lagace where the selectable area is)

This happened when I clicked on the "History" tab for this guy. The game kept going but still, error message...

EDIT: Seems to appear every time you check the history of a player that has no history yet.

South Sudan isn't an option in the GM Nationality options!

This could be a database error or it could be an error with how waiver rules are designed, but when trying to send down Esa Lindell to Texas Stars from Dallas I have to place him on waivers, which definitely shouldn't happen with a 20 year old player with zero games played in North America.

Not a bug as such but the English used in most of the news reports, especially potential trades is shocking.

Update: after further reading, the rule was changed for the 08-09 season, so I think it is just an oversight by SI

I had this too, after calling players up for training camp, then 'cutting' them after a few days, some players (20-22 years old, 0 games played) having to be placed on waivers to be sent down.

Also during training camp when going into a preseason game it gives me a "Your roster for today's game is incomplete..." so on so forth. I have 20 players dressed (It should probably be 22 players for preseason) including my two goalies, the only way to pass this is by allowing the AI to adjust my already fine roster selection.

With Tuch, the issue seemed to be the long abbreviation of his team, which caused the crash when attempting to find a logo for it. I've got a fix for that here and hopefully we can shortly roll it out as a hot fix.

When a club wants to loan a player of mine, the club's name does not show up and when both parts accepted the loan contract, all up at the player's name turns black

Screen Resolution Issues (AGAIN)

This is something I had problems with in EHM 2007 and now I have the same issues with the new EHM. Below is my post on the SI forum and below that is a link to someone who is having the exact same issues as myself.

I've just downloaded the game from Steam. When I go to play EHM, the screen resolution goes from 1920x1080 to 1260x720, making the screen overly large and rendering the game unplayable.

How can this be fixed or am I doomed not to be able to play?

Windows 7 and all drivers up to date.

Is this in fullscreen or windowed mode?

Fullscreen will always drop the resolution down because it is fixed to 1024x768. But it shouldn't drop your resolution down if you're playing windowed.

How would one play it in windowed mode? The issue starts as soon as I start the game up.

Just untick the "full screen" box in your game settings...

Yeah via the Preferences screen. There's a button to access it right at the bottom of the screen when you first load EHM.
