Well it seems that celebrity deaths, bad things, and AHL jersey changes now all come in threes. To round out the AHL changes for 2007-2008 announcements the Lowell Lock Monsters have changed officially to the Lowell Devils upon taking on the duties as lead affilaite for New Jersey's Devils; last year the team was the lead affil for the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Canes now are associated with the Albany River Rats who retain their name and logo for the upcoming year with a simple shoulder patch swap from NJ to Carolina as their colors already were red and black...

with this new logo, I bet the team will lost a portion of their fans due to religious reason. lol

of interest to UK ice hockey fans former manchester Storm coach Kurt Kleinendorst has been appointed as Lowell's head coach. He has been invloved with new jersey for a few years now and if he does well here the NHL may be a possibility for him one day as a head coach.
