Thank you for replying:-) On the Go on Vacation setting, I clicked yes for "apply for manager position at higher reputation teams." I don't remember the specifics, but basically it will give you an appropriate background to the job you are taking. For example if you start off with the weakest background and put yourself in an NHL job, you will get fired very quickly since you don't have the history that the position requires.
