EHM The Blue Line

I am hoping for someone to code a Saved game editor for EHM:EA, or a Salary Cap editor where we can edit the Salary cap on a year to year basis.

PLEASE!!!



If its not possible, i will understand, but this is the only thing holding me back from playing it right now.

yea I hope this is something SI can look into adding. A static cap hurts the MLS in the FM game as well.

Nah, cap shouldn't move in the game unless the salary demands also go up, if we see Stamkos demand $11m+ when he goes to UFA like he would IRL then we can talk about having a moving cap....

Players' demands will stay the same, therefore having the cap to change is unuseful

Players do demand higher salaries, i am more of a simulating and not watch games, when i got to the fourth season, Carey Price was a UFA wanting $9 million a season. He stayed a UFA until December, until his asking dropped to $3 mil. Teams cant give raises to prospects also because of cap. There is a reason the NHL tries to raise cap in real life. Of course this comes down to Escrow and Canadian/US dollar. But cap should be able to move up and maybe even down some years.. But the option to change it would be awesome.

Anyone demanding $9M is no problem for this cap, the thing with Price you described just has to do with the AI being bad at dealing with cap problems which is a whole other problem... Unless players demands go up every 5 years or so the cap should stay as it is... If Price was asking for 11-12M+ like he would IRL then the cap would have to go up...

price fine, but all players want to go up in cap. So you spend to cap, then have to get rid of players because eventually you cant afford everyone. NHL cap changes in real life, so it would be cool to have the option. Its not like you would have to use the option. I do understand where you are coming from, but i want to be able to change it, thats all.

Cap does change in real life, but so does the players salary demands, they don't in the game.... How many (top)teams can keep all their players every season?

Players do demand higher salaries though. I dont understand what you are saying. Price 9 million? Jamie Benn 10 Million? how far have you gotten into an NHL game on EHM:EA? because after the first year if a player has a decent season making 500k he wants 2-3 million... i don't understand how you can say their demands dont go up.

Ofcourse a player that gets older want more pay if he's doing well, what i'm saying is that the average isn't going up and that the biggest stars don't expect Kane/Toews money....

Guys...unlike in real life, there is no inflation in this game. There is no need for salary cap increase. If cap increases you will just be able to have a SUPERSTAR team where Evgeni Malkin is on your fourth line and your third string goalie is someone like Carey Price.

The demands of the players in EHM for contracts are reflective of the salary cap that is set in the game, and is NOT dynamic. Neither the cap or player salaries are dynamic.

Do the math guys. Realistic teams or superstar wonderful teams.

Now if EHM does dynamic salary cap at some point great. And if they do dynamic player salary desires great. But they do not and by the straightforward math of things it keeps your leagues in balance over time, so that noone can have Patrick Kane-Malkin-Corey Perry on their 4th line.

To changing the cap - yes is the simple answer - now I just need to work out a consistent way to do it!
